day 1 - Arrive in Cairo
Welcome to the timeless land of the pharaohs. On arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel by private vehicle.
day 2 - The pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara & Memphis
Start your Egyptian adventure after breakfast. The first visit of the day will be to the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. These pyramids were built by the pharaohs from the period starting from 2590 BC to 2480 BC.
Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind. After enjoying the views and taking pictures, travel to Sakkara to see the step pyramid built by king Zoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt. Head for Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, and see the best and the biggest statue of King Ramses the Great, one of the greatest ancient kings to rule over Egypt. Finally, you’ll head back to Cairo for another night at your hotel.
day 3 - GEM & Cairo sightseeing
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before driving to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Discover one of the world’s largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts, with over 100,000 treasures including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun, monumental statues, mummies, and interactive exhibits. Stroll through the Grand Atrium, marvel at the museum’s stunning architecture, and immerse yourself in a journey through Egypt’s rich history. Have lunch at a local restaurant before exploring some of the most famous churches in Cairo. Travel to the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress and their remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St Sergius next before driving back to your hotel.
day 4 - Nile cruise from Luxor
Check out of your Cairo hotel after breakfast and transfer to Cairo Airport to take your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and taken to a luxury cruise, where you will stay for the next four nights. See some of the major pharaonic monuments in Luxor, including the Karnak Temple, the largest pharaonic temple ever built.
day 5 - Discover the Valley of the Kings
Your first destination of the day will be the Valley of the Kings, a famous necropolis that has the tombs of the kings of ancient Egypt. Travel next to the amazing temple of Hatshepsut, who was the first woman to rule over Egypt. This temple was used as a monastery in the Christian era. This is why it is also famous as El Deir Al Bahry, or 'Western Monastery'.
Your last stop of the day will be the gigantic Colossi of Memnon. These two, 18m-high statues are the only remaining items of the temple of Amenhotep III.
day 6 - Discover Edfu & Kom Ombo
After breakfast, you will have the chance to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the best preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt and still has wonderfully decorated walls and stone capitals.
Your next stop will be the amazing Temple Of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). Also, you will get to visit the Crocodile Museum.
Enjoy the evening cruising down the Nile to Aswan.
day 7 - Aswan & Abu Simbel
After breakfast, it’s time to visit the Abu Simbel Temple in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Drive for 3 hours, enjoy one of the iconic sights of ancient Egypt. Return to Aswan for lunch then continue sightseeing in Aswan. Visiting the most beautiful temple of Egypt, the Temple of Isis, located on Philae, an Island in the middle of the Nile.
day 8 - Aswan to Cairo
Disembark from the cruise and transfer to Aswan Airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Cairo.
day 9 - Free day in Cairo
You have a free day today. Participate in one of the optional trips to Alexandria or join any other optional sightseeing tours of Cairo.
day 10 - Departure
After breakfast, our representative will escort you to the airport for departure according too your flight details.
