Together with my daughter, I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route at the beginning of June 2025 – and what an unforgettable adventure it turned out to be! From the very first contact, the tour operators inspired confidence: excellent communication, clear information, and a warm welcome upon arrival. Our team of guides, porters, and cooks was exceptionally professional, friendly, and dedicated. They not only ensured our safety but also created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the entire climb. The route itself was breathtakingly beautiful. Every day brought new landscapes – from lush rainforest to alpine desert, and finally reaching the summit: a snow-covered Uhuru Peak. The guidance from our guides was invaluable; they constantly monitored our health and acclimatization and kept us motivated during the toughest moments. Thanks to their support, my daughter and I ultimately stood on the summit of Kilimanjaro – an emotional and proud moment that we will both cherish forever. The organization of meals, camp setup, and daily planning was impeccable. It’s incredible how much comfort the team was able to provide, even at high altitude. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys to anyone who wants to take on this special challenge. The combination of professional leadership and warm, personal attention makes all the difference. It was a wonderful trip. I would not change a thing our travel agent was awesome and our group leaders on the Africa Safari were great. I love everything about it. We stayed where we went. Everything was awesome.

I would 100% recommend this trip with Contiki, from the second the trip started to after it had ended it was well organised and felt very safe. The tour covered so many bucket list activities and I am sad that it is over!

An amazing trip, well worth every penny. We saw so much wildlife and I couldn't believe how close we were to some of the animals! I loved the sunrises on our morning game drives and the wild camping really enhanced the experience. Our guide and his team looked after us so well. The only thing that caught us out was how cold the mornings can be so a woolly hat, gloves and a warm jacket are essential. An incredible experience with wonderful memories!

This trip was my first Contiki and I cannot say enough positive things about it. I was a little nervous because of my dietary requirement, but the company and trip manager were so accommodating and helpful! Our trip manager Jesse was the best and really made the trip great! The safaris were my favorite part, but overall it was a 10/10 and I strongly recommend!!
