This was a really packed holiday with plenty opportunities to see wildlife, learn about the history and current events in the areas visited. Although long distances were travelled some days there were breaks to see local markets, glass factory and local crafts. The scenery was spectacular with time for walking, exploring and swimming in the Ocean There was the chance to opt in to additional excursions or to just chill The guides were all excellent- very good at spotting the wildlife and with a wide breadth of knowledge Our tour leader was especially good at keeping us organised and informed in a relaxed and fun manner Accommodation was an interesting mixture of eco villages but all with comfortable beds and en suite facilities

Our Kenya safari was an amazing experience with so many highlights. Beautiful scenery, comfortable and high quality accommodation and best of all we were lucky to see “the big five” close up as well as many other animals and birds. Memories of seeing lions, cheetahs and one beautiful leopard up close will forever stay in my memory. Our tour leader Hussein was outstanding. He would always go the extra mile to make sure we all had a great experience. Always friendly, full of information and a great organiser, driver and wildlife spotter! Highly recommend this trip.

The Grand Tour of Morocco was a very good experience. Our guide Omar and driver Hussan were excellent. Hussan kept our minibus spotless and was always warm and friendly, helping out wherever he could. Our guide Omar went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He was always available to solve any issues that came up, and tried to cater to our group to make sure we had what we needed and wanted. We only had seven people on our tour, which made the 14 passenger seat minibus (which was brand new) very comfortable. We had a good combination of group activities and independent time on our own. I was a solo traveller, and enjoyed getting to know everyone on the tour. The tour was in February, which turned out to be a great time to be in Morocco. It was cool in the morning and evenings, and comfortably warm in the afternoon. Bring warm sweaters and a good jacket if you visit in February. The best part was there weren’t too many tourists around making sites easier to visit and restaurants easier to get a good table. I found the Moroccan people to be very friendly, and I never felt unsafe anywhere we went. Our guide made sure we had our bearings in each new city or town we stayed in so it was easy to get around. The accommodations ranged from very good to shabby. I don’t mind basic accommodation as long as it’s clean, but one hotel we stayed for two nights was run down and not clean. The Riad we stayed in on our last night was beautiful and very comfortable. I also really enjoyed both nights at the Nomad camps in the desert. There were some very long days on the minibus (six to eight hours of driving on a few days), but our guide made sure we had stops to stretch our legs. We covered well over 3000 kilometres on this tour, which provided a great opportunity to really see the country. I would highly recommend this tour so long as you’re prepared for the full on pace and some long days. Again, I can’t say enough how much I appreciated our guide and driver.

Excellent trip. Mohamed our leader was the best!! Full on itinerary but perhaps make the days more balanced. Some days were early starts and late finishes with the next day less full. Also remember we are not all expert Egyptologists!!

Excellent

This tour was a deeply enriching journey, taking us through Greece’s temples, Turkey’s palaces, and Egypt’s ancient marvels. Each day was full of unique experiences, and the pace felt just right. The guides did a fantastic job explaining local culture and history, and the cruise added a relaxing layer, letting us see the scenery from a new vantage point.

The Best tour to climb Kilimanjaro - First Class Standard

We have just returned from this amazing trip. What a wonderfully experience it was. David the tour leader was absolutely fantastic. He was strong and decisive leader and was exactly what we all needed to complete this tough challenge. The porters were unbelievable and every bit of credit you read about them in other reviews is so very well deserved. See for yourselves how dedicated to you they are. It’s like a small village constantly on the move up the mountain together. The food was first class and there were a lot of choices for everybody. To be fair we all ate really well and you certainly wont go hungry at all. The mess tent had a great vibe as you will find similar people wanting to do similar things as yourselves. Our group of 11 had a great balance. Me and my wife were the only couple together and all the others had come despite being in relationships. Advice Don’t take a book or a kindle. There is very little ‘down time’ so you wont get the time you think you will get because there is always something to do. I thought we’d have hours of waiting around in the afternoons but it never worked out that way. Sometimes everybody would be tired and take a nap other times a card game would commence. You’ll be amazed at how quickly the hours go. You will have a great group of people believe me. You booked this trip for the same reasons that they did so embrace it. You will wear a lot of the same clothes, just ensure you have your summit night clothes fresh and ready to go. Because we went in early February there were hot days and cold nights. Your clothes wont smell and neither will you so take a little roll on deodorant and use it every morning. You will get a wishy washy (bowl of hot water) every morning and most afternoons too. Remember it’s nothing like Glastonbury camping mainly because you will always be sober. Believe it or not but the 15kg allowance is plenty. No it really is. Don’t stress about packing it’s all going to be OK… Don’t go mad with your snacks as there is unlimited chocolate and biscuits provided by Exodus. The only small complaint was that the toilet tent was a bit shabby and the zipper needed attention. The toilet itself was absolutely fine. I’m sure Exodus can afford a new toilet tent. The organisation was first class and a lot of friendships developed. It’s amazing how it’s all arranged and so well put together. I would recommend this trip 100% and Exodus as a company have got you covered. They might cost a little more than other tours but you get what you pay for on the mountain.
