Amazing tour. I can’t believe all the animals we saw… and how close our guide was able to get. KK, our leader, just made the tour with his skills and the care with which he did his job. Lots of great food, and great accommodation, even the bush camping! The team is great and I’ll definitely travel with Explore again.

Brilliant experience led by an excellent driver/guide, who was very pleased to share her information and love of her country. Deadvlei, Sossusvlei, Wolvis Bay Etosha National Park full of surprises. Daily news was posted on WhatsApp site, worked well when internet was available, and very useful for packing and preparing for the day ahead. Some days involved a lot of travelling but I enjoyed the 2 nighters with activities. September was perfect weather wise and no need for malaria tablets. Group of 10 was great, truck was our purpose built vehicle and loved raising the roof when waiting patiently at waterholes. Wonderful trip.

Kilimanjaro

This was a very well organized trip with experienced leaders and very thoughtful, kind people. They made us all feel energized and positive of the hike and our abilities to be able to summit. They stuck to the schedule but were flexible when needed. The food was fabulous too!

Great trip, well lead by Omar who took care of everyone through week. Whilst the trio was tough in parts, Omar made sure that the pace was appropriate for everyone. I would highly recommend the trip.

An adventure of a lifetime

Having done a safari in lodges in Kenya 20+years ago, we wanted to experience the adventure of a safari under canvas, getting up close to the wildlife of Botswana. Oh boy! We were not disappointed. This was the most thrilling holiday we've ever been on; absolutely sensational. Our leader, Brian, and his team were brilliant, making sure everything ran smoothly and we got the most out of each day. Wild camping is an experience like no other. It's very down-to-earth, can be very hot and dusty, but is a lot more comfortable than you might think. Our party were all 50+years old but adapted to the camping easily. There are lots of early starts, but who cares when you see so much wonderful wildlife. This is an adventure not to be missed.

The perfect blend of city life, adventure, and unforgettable safari experiences. Our Trip Manager, Sim, was outstanding—highly professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and an absolute blast to travel with. His expertise on each country we visited was unmatched, and no matter the question, he always had the answer. His ability to speak multiple languages made communication seamless with both locals and guides, adding so much depth to the experience. The safari guides were truly remarkable. Their talent for spotting wildlife—camouflaged in dense trees or hidden in the distance—was nothing short of impressive. Even with their help, I often needed extra direction just to see what they had already noticed! I would do this trip again in a heartbeat—ten times over.
