In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. They were vigilant in their monitoring of climbers, supported us when altitude sickness hit, and continuously provided motivation throughout our trek on the mountain. The summit day was incredibly emotional, and all Aardvark Expeditions staff were there at the summit to celebrate with us for achieving our goal. Our 6-day journey on the Marangu Route was handled by Aardvark Expeditions, and we couldn't have asked for better service! As a group of only five people from India, we received excellent personal service and attention from every member of the team. Our guides (Bariki and John) were very supportive, knowledgeable and patient, while the chefs (Erik and Abuu) created tasty meals that energised us every day for the long trek ahead. I did a 7-day Kilimanjaro trek via the Rongai Route in December and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The landscapes along the Rongai Route were breathtaking, with beautiful and constantly changing scenery at every camp. It was one of the most memorable holidays I’ve ever had. It was less crowded so it felt like absolutely exclusive.
