Overall the trip was enjoyable. Recommend spending one more day for the d-day portion of the trip. allowing more time for personal exploration of the museums, beaches, and historic sites. Hotels were comfortable our tour guide did a great job of providing daily trip information. Recommend reconfiguration of the bus to allow for more leg room. The bus ride was not comfortable from a leg room standpoint. Taking out 4 or 6 seats on a side would allow for more leg room for each passenger. Really liked the two-night stops.
I would have liked more time in Normandy. It seemed very rushed through Omaha Beach and the American cemetery. I would have liked to go to Utah beach but that wasn't an option. The visit to Normandy was the main reason we came on the trip and it was disappointing due to the rapid way we were rushed through.
