Naturally Costa Rica

We loved the La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Sarapiqui River tour! La Paz is beyond beautiful with orchids, hummingbirds, frogs, toucans, scarlet macaws, parrots, coatis, sloths, ocelots, margays, and a jaguar. The gardens and waterfalls are exquisite. A wonderful buffet lunch was included. Our trip down the Sarapiqui River in a covered boat was so much fun! We saw two caimans, iguanas, Anhingas, swallows, butterflies, and five troops of Mantled Howler monkeys. Oscar and Armando, our guide and driver were so kind and taught us so much. We stopped at a lovely coffee finca to see the beans ripening, a sopa (local restaurant) in the mountains to take in spectacular waterfall and hummingbird views, we watched whitewater rafters, and sampled fresh pineapple at a farmstand. Oscar and Armando treated us like family and made our first day in Costa Rica amazing!

An excellent tour of the mountains, the Central Valley, and the Pacific coast. Before we arrived, when the kind organiser Oldemar learnt that we were going to arrive one day early, he generously arranged for a free half-day tour of San Jose city. We then started the main tour, visited the three main volcanoes Poas, Irazu and Arenal (but not the summit of Arenal - access is forbidden), and did many other things, including zip-lining, white-water rafting, observing many exotic animals and staying in the famous Tortuguero National Park. The organisation and the accommodations were very good. The only very minor criticisms that I have is that the San Jose hotel (the Barcelo) is somewhat isolated, and that the visit to the Irazu volcano occurred quite late, just as the afternoon clouds were starting to close in.

Your website got everything right! Before the trip booking was easy and someone was always available to answer questions. When we arrived in CR we were immediately met by friendly helpful travel coordinators. Our transportation was there and ready. We receive a call from your local provider every couple of days to check in and make sure we were well. Each hotel was true to the descriptions offered. Our accommodations were lovely and this turned out to be a hassle free amazing trip! I will always use and recommend your website. This is my 2nd trip with them they are consistently great!

The entire trip was expertly handled and resulted in an excellent vacation. Your local provider contacted us 3 times during the trip to inquire if everything was going smoothly, which was the first time I ever experienced this kind of attentiveness on a booked trip. What a fantastic experience with your website. I assume you also operate under European Destinations which we have used in the past and have only good reviews about our experience in Spain. Our friends have utilized European Destinations based on our recommendations, and we have already told several of our friends about the great experience we had with your webite and the ease with which we were able to book our visit to Costa Rica. You definitely will be a company we utilize for future trips.

A couple of minor inconveniences only. Transportation was very good, as were the hotels and excursions. We have already recommended Costa Rica and your company to many people, including friends and people we met while on vacation. We will definitely use your company again!
