Very early in the morning, a touristic bus will pick you up from the hotel located in the city of Cusco to go towards the train station of Ollantaytambo in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
From this point, you will take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, in a journey of 1 hour and a half. During the way, you will enjoy amazing mountains landscapes. Upon arrival, you will take a bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu Citadel, and have free time to walk around this amazing archeological site.
Machu Picchu was declared as a UNESCO Historical and Cultural Heritage in 1981. This impressive Inca citadel was built under the domains of Inca Pachacutec during the fifteenth century when he started the expansion of the Incan Empire, known as Tahuantinsuyo.
At the agreed time, you will meet our professional guide at the entrance of the Inca site, to start the guided tour to Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary. Explore the Lost City of the Incas, for 2 hours and a half, learning about this ancient civilization and admiring beautiful landscapes.

Book this private, guided tour with us and get the chance to visit four beautiful lagoons as well as a traditional Inca bridge still in operation. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at around 5:00 am and head for the south of Cusco to the district of Quehue. Spend around three hours on road before leaving the vehicle and taking a short walk to see the last Quechua Bridge, Q’eswachaka (also called Queshuachaca). This bridge is built with qoya fibre, a material that is obtained from an autochthonous plant. However, in the past, it was ichu, an altiplánico grass, that was used to make such bridges. The work of renovating and maintaining this bridge is carried our annually by members of the nearby villages who still use it. See the bridge and learn more about its association with the Incas from your tour guide. Upon returning from the bridge, we will take short stops to photograph four beautiful lagoons: Laguna Pomacanchi, Laguna Acopia, Laguna Asnaqocha and Laguna Pampamarca.
