Not much at all. I am happy with the way it is unfolding
Best way to do a tour, with stops stretched to 3 days. Free time to see more with a bit of research. We visited the fabulous Casa Batlló in Barcelona which was not included in our tour.
Saw things never seen before...excellent
The tour attracted elderly people who had mobility issues on this tour. We thought Easy Pace was spending 3 days in each city and touring areas close to the hotel location. This was not a cheap holiday; however, we spent another 850 euros to see other areas and experience dinners etc. The positive aspect of the trip was the Tour Director who did an outstanding job considering the people on this tour. Plus, the driver was also exceptionally.
Nice itinerary with overnight stays in Barcelona, San Sebastián and Madrid. All hotels are not centrally located, therefore, prepare to spend time in travelling back to hotels when you spend free time independently.
It was a lot of walking. The time spent walking should have been announced for each day and in your written description for each day.
Be more informed on the amount of walking required, especially for those with walkers, and canes.
It does a very nice job of giving a glimpse of the northern portion of the country. It is also a good “ABC tour.” For those who are so inclined, there are opportunities to visit “Another Beautiful Church.” , the tour director, is an absolute gem, and , the driver, is a magician with a motor coach.
'Easy Pace' was misleading. I know you meant it as 3 days per city rather than 1 or 2, but several people complained about too much walking. Easy pace connotes a slower pace each day, which was not the case. But tour director Lola was terrific!
Itinerary was good and we saw a lot of Spain. We appreciated the three days at each hotel which made the trip less hectic. However, we had 3 seniors in our group that weren't prepared for all the walking that was involved. Also, your extra excursions need to be updated on your website and many are no longer available. We were disappointed that the Royal Palace and Cathedral in Madrid were not included in our tour. We only had time to see them from afar. Lola was a fantastic guide and Hugo was an excellent driver.
Relaxed easy pace. Good for seniors.
It was very well done and carefully thought out. We saw a lot.
Trip was well described and met what we wanted to see in Spain. Nice to only move hotels 3 times during the trip. 'Easy Pace' might be defined better as some travelers couldn't keep up with the walking
Great experience. Our guide , was amazing! He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and some wants even when we didn’t know we wanted it!! He and put us at ease. I felt safe and comfortable the entire trip! I definitely will recommend it to friends and family!
The itinerary was very well planned and executed. Even though it's labeled Easy Pace, I felt as though we were able to see a lot in 10 days.
Great itinerary and loved the trip. Did all the optional excursions and dinners which were all enjoyed and I would recommend. Only issue was the optional trip to Biarritz which did not leave enough time to shop in Biarritz and got us to Saint-Jean-de- Luz just as the store were closing in the afternoon. Still a good time out but the trip needs to be amended. Hotels were nice and the breakfasts were great. Only change was I would have done the Guggenheim Museum instead of the old town tour in Bilbao. Funicular is really short and the old time was nice but did not like the shops. Overall was a great trip. Favourite place was San Sebastian- walked from the hotel on beach boardwalk which was lovely. Great old town with nice shops and wonderful restrurants . One option to consider is to book an extra day before the trip starts as Barcelona has so much to see, we did not have time to see all the things we wanted like the National Museum and going on the Cable cars. Beautiful time overall.
We stopped in Pamplona, why not have lunch there instead of at a rest stop? Also, racing behind local tour guides and tearing past the stores and the interesting sites to get to the next cathedral, does not give time for taking pictures let alone stopping in any stores. It would be nice if that could be corrected.
Our tour director was outstanding, making each day very enjoyable. The local specialist were very good.
