Departure from a meeting point in Madrid at 08:00 am toward the region of Extremadura and arrival to Trujillo, the birthplace of Spanish conquerors. Spend your free time to learn more about the monumental Plaza Mayor de Trujillo, before continuing your journey toward the Portuguese border to reach Lisbon, the capital of Portugal located at the mouth of river Tagus. In Lsibon, you can embark on an optional night tour to attend a show of Fado, typical Portuguese songs and music.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up for the tour of Lisbon. The morning city sightseeing tour includes sites such as Alfama Quarter, Tower of Belem, and Monastery of Los Jeronimos.
After the city sightseeing tour, you are free in the afternoon to explore on your own. If you do not know where to go or how to spend your day, you can consider our optional excursion to nearby destinations of Sintra, Estoril, and Cascais.
Today, you will travel to Fátima after breakfast at the hotel. The town of Fátima is about one and half hours drive from Lisbon, and it is famous for being an important Catholic pilgrimage site. There you will visit Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima and other important sites. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Lisbon.
This morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will depart from Lisbon and travel to Spain. Along the way, there will be a stop at Cáceres, a city founded by ancient Romans in western Spain's Extremadura region. There, you will spend some time exploring Plaza Mayor de Cáceres, and
walking through the old city and its famous medieval quarter. After lunch in Cáceres, the journey continues southwards to reach Sevilla.
After breakfast at the hotel in Sevilla, you will embark on a morning city sightseeing tour. You will be visiting sites such as María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, and the exterior of the stunning Seville Cathedral and its bell tower called Giralda. You will also visit the typical neighbourhood of Santa Cruz.
If you wish, you can optionally navigate the Guadalquivir river, during which you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or visit to the Maestranza Bullring. There is also an evening optional activity of attending a flamenco show.
Today you will depart from Sevilla after breakfast and travel toward the city of Cordoba, which is 145 kilometers away. Upon arrival in Cordoba, you will be taken on a walking tour of the city starting at Almodovar Gate through the Jewish Quarter and the famous Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba. After the tour, you are free for the day to explore on your own.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart to the Route of the White Villages and then to Ronda, where you will have free time to explore on your own. Later in the day, you will continue your journey toward Costa del Sol.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will journey toward Granada, which is around 180 kilometers away. At Granada, you will visit the spectacular group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens and arches. You can also join an optional tour of the Sacromonte Caves and attend a typical Gipsy flamenco show.
Today you will depart for Valencia after breakfast. You will be traveling via Guadix, Baza, and Puerto Lumbreras to reach the Mediterranean coastal city of Valencia.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some free time in Valencia, before departing to Barcelona. The tour ends once you have arrived in Barcelona.
