The "Absolute Peru" tour is crafted for adventurous, experienced travelers eager to blend challenging treks with immersive wildlife experiences. Over 21 unforgettable days, journey roundtrip from Lima through legendary sites like Nazca, Puno, Aguas Calientes, and beyond. A highlight of this trip is the iconic Inca Trail hike—demanding but richly rewarding, with panoramic vistas of cloud forests, mountain peaks, and evocative ruins awaiting those who tackle its steep paths. The fair treatment of porters and top-quality trek logistics, managed directly by the tour operator, set this tour package apart.
Beyond trekking, savor the unique opportunity to observe wildlife from the exclusive G Lodge Amazon, nestled in the lush canopy. Excellent overall tour with too much travelling and not enough time to relax.
The 21 day adventure exceeded my expectations. It provided a wonderful introduction to the history and diversity of Peru’s culture. The hike to Machu Picchu was, in places, challenging but imminently doable. The tour leaders were knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and interesting people. My desire to participate in another G Adventures tour is driven in large part by the quality of their tour leaders.
The itenerary is very good and the whole trip met completely my expectations or exceeded them.
Overall a really positive trip, loved Peru, Jesus our CEO was expectational as was Nestor on the Inca Trail. The porters and cooks in group 15 of the Inca Trail are real life heroes, what they did for us made the whole experience so much more comfortable. They are seriously impressive. First trip with G Adventures and definitely not the last. So great having everything organised so you can lap up the experience as much as possible.
I loved it. Peru is a beautiful country. Our leaders Enrique and Xavi (Inca trail) were the best and a real credit to G adventure..
It was super!
Fantastic country and beautiful landscape. Renato was a great CEO and always willing to help and make Peru the best experience for everybody. I can highly recommend this tour.
This was the trip of a lifetime! Although Peru is such a big country and there's no way you can see everything in 3 weeks, we feel like we've seen so many highlights and had some amazing experiences in such a short time. The itinerary is very well thought through, there's a lot of time to accommodate to the high altitude before doing the Rainbow Mountain hike or the Inca trail. The fact that we had local guides for different small trips was incredible and we're in awe of all the insights we learned about Peruvians, Inca culture, and the whole amazing history of this magical country. It was a fantastic experience with an amazing CEO, a lovely small group of people, and extremely delicious food. Not to forget the kind people we met along the way and the phenomenal views that remained imprinted in our hearts.
I really enjoyed the trip. I wouldnt change a thing except maybe being able to spend one more day in Cusco and the Amazon. You will be able to see all the highlights of Peru in a short amount of time: Inka trail, penguins, Nasca lines, Machu Pichu, Rainbow mountain (add-on) Amazon jungle and the Andes. The trip is fast paced, meaning you will be in a different place almost every night. But this will give you the chance to see a lot of the country, you still have time to spent some free time in some places. The Inka trail was also very well organised. I purchased the add-ons Rainbow Mountain, Paracas and Nasca flight and the service and value of these trips were excellent as well. In my option also must sees of the trip. The trip leader Cheo was the best I ever had in my life. We all felt very safe and super cared for.
