Itinerary packs lots in with several highlights - special mention goes to the tomato farm where we had lunch with the whole family. AJ was a brilliant guide who goes the extra mile to make sure your holiday is special. Highly recommended

A gastronomic delight although the spleen sandwiches in Palermo are definitely an acquired taste. Beautiful towns and cities set in stunning countryside. Fascinating local guides ranging from very funny anecdotes about her Sicilian mother in law in the valley of the temples, Agrigento to the chilling history of the Mafia in the museum in Corleone. The top highlight amongst many was a wonderful meal and superb red wine on a tomato farm shared with the owners family. Our superb guide AJ has a wealth of local knowledge and goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone is catered for. A highly recommended tour.

Fabulous tour with a knowledgeable and fun tour leader. Well organized and with varied visits, not only to foodie destinations, but also to historic locations. Great bunch of 11 people on the tour . One of the best holidays ever.

A very good experience, we are very likely to go on another trip with Explore. Hope we get as good a guide as Fabio!

A trip like this depends on many factors especially the guide and travel companions. In this case we were so fortunate to have Fabio Giorlando as our exceptional guide. Our travel companions were terrific! The itinerary was varied and interesting. The family run businesses we visited warmly welcomed us and shared their stories and food/wine experiences. The food and restaurant choices were enjoyable. It was very nice that Fabio arranged reservations at restaurants for the meals not covered by the tour making it easy for us to decide whether to eat there or elsewhere (we always ate there and the food and venue were always good.)
