This tour in Italy was fantastic! Our leader, Matteo, did an excellent job of introducing us to each new location we visited and ensuring that we enjoyed the activities that were included. There was a good balance between planned activities and free time to explore. The itinerary was rather extensive. Each hotel was clean and comfy. Plan on doing a lot of walking, which allows you to see so much. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip experience. Jasmine and Marc.
Beautiful architecture, a great blend of modern and traditional restaurants, and historic attractions. Good meals were served along with interesting and enjoyable activities. For context, my mother is 66 years old and I am 24. Despite our different interests and levels of fitness, we both really enjoyed this tour.
The Northern Italy Tour was a great choice for our trip. In an instant, I saw and did a lot of amazing things. I couldn't have planned the schedule on my own. My trip was much better because I was in a small group with an experienced leader. The only thing is that it was VERY crowded especially in Venice, I do not recommend to visit Italy in high season.
I just took part in the Northern Italy tour with my son. Saying that it was great would be an understatement. The friendships grew from the moment we arrived. Luigi, our tour guide, was the one who truly made something special to our trip. Luigi, we are grateful that you shared your great passion for Italian history and culture with us. Until the next time!
This was such a fun trip! Giuvanna, our tour guide, went above and beyond in suggesting things to do during our free time and truly made sure we saw everything we wanted to. I think that seeing a city on foot is the greatest way to experience it, however there was a lot of walking on the trip (depending on how you spend your free time). We received guidance away from the tourist districts and into more local places, in addition to seeing "the hits" of each city. We were able to truly experience each place thanks to this.
This trip was wonderful! Compared to some of the larger trips, I like that the team offers small groups—up to 20–25 people. The weather was lovely when I visited in April. Be prepared to organize some of your own activities as there is usually a scheduled activity in the morning and free time in the afternoon. The guide is helpful in providing suggestions and answering questions, and it's nice to have a balance between organized activities and having time to yourself. The accommodations seemed satisfactory to me. This is an excellent tour if you want to see the main attractions of Italy with some companionship and instruction but still a lot of freedom and independence!
The tour from Venice to Rome provides a wonderful overview of this region of Northern Italy; the only drawback is that it is far too short only 10 days. We really enjoyed it. With his exceptional leadership, our group leader Matteo created an unforgettable experience.
I usually travel by myself or with a small group of friends, but I wanted to see a lot of places in Italy and thought it would be easiest to take a tour. This one was my choice because it had a good mix of planned group events and free time for me to explore on my own. I planned ahead of time to skip half of the group events and spend most of the time by myself. Well, but really? I had a great time with the group! I would follow Mattheo anywhere in the world because he is such a GREAT guide.
Our small group had an amazing vacation thanks to Isa, who was always willing to help and took good care of us. It was a fascinating trip.
journey of a lifetime and would return again and again. made lifelong friendships with people from all around the world, including our guides. A small-group tour is the only option for travel going ahead.
