Itinerary

Peru’s ancient wonders and vibrant culture come alive on the "Solo-ish Peru" tour—a nine-day adventure tailor-made for experienced travelers eager for meaningful connections and personal discovery. Begin in Lima with a collaborative cooking class, then journey through the Sacred Valley, where community-focused experiences culminate in a special surprise. Explore Incan sites, bustling markets, and hidden gems, and unwind in Aguas Calientes’ thermal hot springs before heading to the legendary Machu Picchu. This moderate-activity group trip expertly balances guided exploration with independent moments, ensuring you gain confidence as a solo traveler while forging bonds with like-minded adventurers. The journey’s true highlight is its hands-on immersion in local culture, making it a tour package that promises both personal growth and unforgettable memories.

day 1Lima

Enjoy an included transfer to the start hotel where you will be able to get settled and freshen up before attending a welcome briefing in the evening. Afterwards, opt to grab dinner in Lima with your fellow travellers and get to know everyone a bit more over some delicious local fare.
It’s highly recommended for travellers to book pre-nights in Lima so they are able to become acquainted with this pulsing city before the adventure inland begins. An activity in the area you could book ahead of time is the Lima city tour.

This was my first big trip and I wanted the safety of a group and to meet new people. This soloish adventure was exactly what I wanted. I felt safe to explore and connected to Peru and to the other group members. It was a phenomenal experience that I will always cherish.

Had an unforgettable journey through Peru — hiked the legendary Inka Trail, stood in awe at Machu Picchu, and pushed through the altitude to reach the summit of Rainbow Mountain at 5,200 metres above sea level. Intense? Definitely. But beyond rewarding. Grateful for the history, the beauty, and the incredible group I got to experience it all with.

This trip exceeded my expectations! I learned a ton from the local guides and experiences, without having to worry about any of the logistics of transportation, buying tickets, etc. And it was great to travel with a small group of other solo travelers.

I had such a wonderful trip in Peru with Mary and Wenny. I feel I got a real taste for the country and culture. It was nice to have a small group to get to really know each other.
