Solo-ish Peru

This was my first big trip and I wanted the safety of a group and to meet new people. This soloish adventure was exactly what I wanted. I felt safe to explore and connected to Peru and to the other group members. It was a phenomenal experience that I will always cherish.

Had an unforgettable journey through Peru — hiked the legendary Inka Trail, stood in awe at Machu Picchu, and pushed through the altitude to reach the summit of Rainbow Mountain at 5,200 metres above sea level. Intense? Definitely. But beyond rewarding. Grateful for the history, the beauty, and the incredible group I got to experience it all with.

This trip exceeded my expectations! I learned a ton from the local guides and experiences, without having to worry about any of the logistics of transportation, buying tickets, etc. And it was great to travel with a small group of other solo travelers.

I had such a wonderful trip in Peru with Mary and Wenny. I feel I got a real taste for the country and culture. It was nice to have a small group to get to really know each other.
