Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Cusco to the Sacred Valley, where you’ll visit Chinchero, a charming Andean village and Inca archaeological site believed to have been the country estate of Emperor Tupac Yupanqui. From there, the group can choose between two inspiring experiences: an easy-to-moderate downhill hike from Chinchero to the town of Urquillos (subject to availability and additional cost) along ancient Inca trails, or a guided exploration of the Moray archaeological complex and the natural salt mines of Maras.
