Coimbra: Explore the riverfront city and stroll the cobbled streets of its old town. Then cool off with a relaxing beer in the sun.
Nazare: This tiny town is making big waves (literally!). We'll check out Nazare - a coastal gem famous for surfing and being home to the largest underwater canyon in Europe. Expect some of the tallest waves you've EVER seen.
Aveiro: Board a colourful boat in the ‘Venice of Portugal’ and sail past candy-striped buildings and palm-tree lined streets.
Obidos: A Moorish Medieval castle, cobbled streets and colourful houses pepper the landscape of this fairytale-like Portuguese town.
Évora: Take a casual stroll around the medieval town. You’ll feel yourself grow wiser as you soak up all that lovely art, history and culture.
A new type of trip drenched in sun and packed with wellness vibes, this one's designed to dive deep into the unique beauty and culture of Portugal. Journeying from Lisbon to Porto, this trip hits iconic destinations, uncovers Portuguese culture & soaks up the good vibes and free spirit of surf culture across the azure shores of Portugal’s beautiful coastlines.
This was my first Contiki and I was more than happy with how it went. Our trip guide was very helpful and positive, making our trip feel super seamless and hassle-free. Getting around by coach was super efficient and comfortable - our driver was amazing. Portugal was amazing, and experiencing it with a friendly group was the best part!
This trip truly exceeded expectations. is such an amazing trip manager and got to see so many places with such a wonderful group of legends. I strongly recommend this trip
If you want to visit as many cities as possible in a short time, then this is the trip for you! It was well organized and our trip manager was great. Also, I had fun with our travel group which you never know what the vibes are like. Only downside is not many guided tours and sight seeing. We are often just dropped off into a town to explore for a 1-3 hours on our own. I would have loved to see some more sites as a group to places like the Quinta Regaleira, Pena Palace, Madeira Island, going inside the university of Coimbra…etc. compare itineraries with other travel groups to see what suits you!
The trip was very well organized with a mix of everything included. Left feeling like I really seen as much of Portugal as I could have.
I would do it again in heart beat ! The experience was so enriching for me
Tour guide was great, always helpful on our free time. Portugal for me was a bit of a let down for food, I expected better but some shops made the difference. Surfing and winery was my favourite, the extra information about the winery using rose bushes and fruit trees was fascinating including the bats protecting the library as pest control
