Peru: Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca

The tour was filled with memorable experiences. Loved the close up with Llamas, Going to Puno, Lake Tittikaka floating islands, Sacred Valley ruins. The experience of meeting the Mara people. The ruins in Cusco were awesome. We wish we could have explored them more. Machu Picchu was breath taking, we could have spent more time there our local guide rushed us through. I was disappointed we didn’t get the choice of which level to experience. I wanted to go into the city but wasn’t able to.

Our tour guide was WONDERFUL and the step on guides were good too.

This was our first experience with a fully guided tour. Cris, our tour manager, made sure that everyone was looked after and always willing to listen. The Machu Picchu experience was wonderful! Sacred Valley and Lake Tittaca were spectacular in their own unique way which is what made the whole experience so enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this trip and Collette

Overall excellent tour and experience. A couple of days were pretty rushed and a couple of days the schedule was more relaxed. Got to ser a lot of history. Locals and tried some new foods.

Our Machu Pichu guide, who was very proud of his Incan roots, said “Peruvians are very proud of Machu Pichu, especially because it was discovered without the influence of the Catholic Church or the Spanish, both of whom referred to the Incans as savages.” As we turned the bend for our first glimpse of the ruins, he stopped and turned and said, “Does this look like something that was created by savages?”

The tour guides provided excellent history and cultural insight at ea h destination. Excellent mix of experiences from beginning to end. Great finale at Larco Museum. The trip leader, David, is the gold standard for a guide and leader. He was the key for a great experience.

For the price and experience it was tops. Our tour manager was excellent.

Elizabeth was amazing! She helped with every aspect of the tour. There were a few aspects of the tour that I didn't love and wish there could have been more built in free time during the day since they were such long days.

Exhausting but absolutely loved Peru. Anyone going to just see Machu Picchu is missing out by not experiencing more of this country.

This is a trip of a life time. I am so happyb I took the decision to get a tour with Collette. The group was the perfect size, the hotel accommodations were a great choice, the times, meals, schedules were perfect, super organized and protective of the group. The team manager couldn't be better. The sites are breath taking and worth every effort to get there.

Our tour guide had a huge problem with our flights in country. She did an amazing job getting us everywhere we needed to be and had a tremendous amount of patience! The mountains have to be seen in person to really see how much beauty they hold.

The tour was amazing. The guides were personable and informative. The tour gave a wide variety of experiences, including the majestic Machu Picchu site, beautiful churches, and the peacefulness of Lake Titicaca. I found the glimpses into culture through foods, market places and artists enjoyable.

Excellent tour! Our tour coordinator, Julie worked with our local guide, Elizabeth to get our flights and all logistics worked out so we didn’t have to worry after weather wrecked havoc with our flight and hotel schedules. My favorite experience was sunrise at Machu Picchu.

Excellent trip very insightful tour guides. We had some hiccups with the weather and flights. However, our guudes. made it as best as possible. I highly recommend this trip!

Machu Pichu Sunrise optional excursion was very memorable. I also enjoyed interacting with families and community members in the small-group settings.

Lake Titicaca was fantastic. Tour communications could have been better while we were there.
