Local Living Italy—Tuscany San Gimignano

Excellent, well thought out tour.

This was my first G Adventures trip, but certainly not my last! For me, the trip offered the right balance of free time and group time—although our group really enjoyed doing most things together. Additionally, this company is doing a great job of supporting local ecotourism efforts, which is something I really value when traveling.

It was an amazing experience where I got to try a taste of local living through food, culture, public transportation, and fun activities. The people on this tour made it even better.

It will stay with me forever. I truly cannot stress enough how much positive impact our CEO, Enrica Bove, had on my overall experience. I am so grateful for her. I was hesitant about trying a solo-trip like this with a group of strangers, but I am so glad I did! The group also matched so well, and we all left feeling like we made memories and lifelong friends.

It was a great way to see and learn about the Tuscany and area. We received great tips for when we ventured out on our own. These were very helpful. The activities were timely but yet gave us the opportunity to be on mood own.

I love the flexibility and friendships that develop through small group travel. I also appreciated the semi-structured nature of the tour which allowed space to pursue my own particular interests. Having someone else take care of logistics such as booking accommodation and organizing train and bus tickets freed me up to focus on the experiences and having a local, knowledgeable CEO enhanced my time in Italy. Thank you!

It was delightful to experience Tuscany life in a personal way. We were immersed into the culture and learned so much about the history of this medieval village as well as Florence and Siena. Being in Rome was a bonus and I felt we got a good mix of Italy. It will be a trip to remember!
