Southern Italy’s hidden charms come alive on the 'Italy: Amalfi Coast to Puglia' trip, a 14-day group getaway for travelers keen to explore beyond the usual tourist trail. Starting in Naples and finishing in Alberobello, this tour guides you through Minori, Lecce, Monopoli, and more, weaving together dramatic coastlines, historic caves, and artisan towns.
Marvel at the legendary Veiled Christ in Naples, sample volcanic wines near Pompeii, and bask in the chic vibes of Positano. Spend two nights in a unique cave dwelling in Matera and end your journey housed in a traditional Puglian abode. The itinerary’s moderate activity keeps things accessible while offering plenty of local flavor and cultural discovery.
The USP is the rare opportunity to experience local life—whether sleeping in centuries-old caves or sampling regional cuisine—making this beach trip an immersive, off-the-beaten-path Italian adventure.
Our tour guide was incredible! Flo made us feel at home, like we were visiting family! She went above and beyond to make our trip amazing! I loved Ravella and would have loved to spend more time there. Amalfi, Positano, Minori, Maori, Otantro and Matera were also my favorite places and we had so many amazing experiences there. The accommodations were incredible.! It was a trip of a lifetime, one is will never forget.
Mauro was absolutely an amazing tour manager. Vingenza was a speculator bus driver.
Fantastic small group, very enjoyable !!! SO BEAUTIFUL
Every day was great. One suggestion would be to increase the time at Pompeii. Tour guide did not keep moving and so much was missed. Could have had a lunch break and then continue to see more. The winery could have been a stop for dinner instead. The water buffalo could have been eliminated and something better added.
This tour was great! We especially loved the accommodations in a cave hotel in beautiful Matera and Trulli huts in Alberobello.
Too many to mention
Christian went above and beyond in my opinion. Thus trip was so enjoyable because it was somewhat unique in the itinerary. Love trips that take you to unique destinations.
