It was a great overview of beautiful Italy
Again I’d remove the Castelammare Di Stabia “La Panoramica” entirely. The stay there was utterly horrific. All of the hotels we stayed at were either very average or below average however that one beyond all was the worst. I’d also have preferred a larger more luxurious coach as I’d seen many other tour companies use but for the price it was okay. Also again we’d have preferred a more specified itinerary telling us where and when we’d be staying/going. Specifics not necessarily needed just a better idea to plan our time more accordingly.
The itinerary was great. We saw a lot, did a lot. I enjoyed all the information we received, our tour guide was amazing. I loved meeting people from all over who were on our tour. I would recommend Costsaver and will definitely consider using Costsaver Tours in the future. Very organized and well planned. Generally pretty good hotels. I really liked the Ergife in Rome in particular.
Again very tiring to go from hotel to the next, but all worth it in the long run got to see many beautiful things
Hotels are less than average.
I had a very disappointing experience with this tour. We paid $400 per day, yet were placed in cheap, unsafe hotels. My iPad was stolen, and I wasn’t the only guest at the hotel who experienced theft. It’s outrageous to charge so much money and then leave us in places like this. On top of that, the schedule was far too rushed. We were constantly on the move with barely any time to relax, shower, or even get a full night’s rest. At best, we got around 8 hours of downtime, which is not enough when traveling at such a fast pace. Overall, I don’t think the quality or safety of this tour matched the price at all. I would not recommend this Tour
Well researched itinerary with interesting options; covered a lot of ground and got to see a number of things on the wishlist. You do spend time in the bus as expected, but it is comfortable, with regular stops.
It was perfect! The timing, breakfast, lunches the stops on our irony and dinners were all great. The hotels were also great! But most of our Tour Guide was amazing!! We all Loved her & Our Bus Tour Driver . Thank you to them both for making our Mana Mia Family Italy Tour spectacular
The experience was a dream come true for us. This was an anniversary celebration and we had a great time.
For first time European travelers, we enjoyed each leg of our trip. It gave us a taste of Italy from north to south.
The itinerary was good but I was very disappointed that the a guided tour of the Colosseum was not available even though it was included as an Optional Experience on all documentation received prior to the trip and also what I saw online.
Some hotels were better than others, however overall they were good. The coach was excellent. It would have been preferable to have the daily itinerary and the list of extra excursions provided when booking the trip rather than upon arrival and each morning.
Itinerary was great, we experienced a lot more than I would ever imagine, it is definitely a fast paced tour which is needed if you want to see as much as you can of Italy, worth it! Hotels were great as well, we had a great experience on each one of them.
It should be made clear upfront if you do not decide to do the extra activies you are stranded and not able to explore yourselve. If you don't decide to do the extra activities I dont understand why you are not able to be dropped and picked up in the locations.
The itinerary was well presented with many optional trips. Highlights for me were the Colosseum in Rome, Pompei, the Amalfi coast and Venice! We choose all of them with only one really disappointing one being the Venice walking tour as the guide was more interested in discussing how she disagreed with locals subletting to tourists. Did she not realize she was talking to a group of tourists? Hotels were all good except for the one outside Venice, it was lacking in comfort and service. As this is a two night stay laundry service would have been appreciated. What made our trip was our tour director Sarah and bus driver Giovanni. They were professional and enhanced our experience.
The food was great the locations and sightseeing we did was beautiful .
I got to see the colliseum, the forum, the vatican, pompeii, the leaning tower of pisa, and a whole lot more.
We were very happy with the tour director the bus driver the hotels and the tours being offered.
Covered everything we wanted to see in Italy and more.
It would have been good to spend more time at Positano to swim at the beach. Otherwise we saw lots of places in a short time which was great
The itinerary was jam pack and was great you were able to experience so much in a short time. which was amazing.
Fast paced Saw a lot in 9 days A little more time to prepare for diner would have been nice
It is well thought out and does the best the time allows
The days were full of visiting sites touring around Italy Cost saver extra are well worth doing to get the whole expierence of the country had to offer Plenty of free time I. Cities to explore by yourself and do shopping
Although the hotels were basic but they were lovely at the same time. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was appetising. There is a couple of things that I would add to this iteniary is to add a couple more days to Italian Scene. It would have nice to spend more time in Rome, Pisa and Florence. Other than that everything was brilliant.
There's so much. I loved all the old buildings. Enjoyed every place we visited.
Itinerary is very busy - be prepared for jam packed days! It is worthwhile to get in a day or two early to adjust to the time difference and settle in before the trip begins. Also be aware - most of the hotels are located just outside the main city you are visiting so if you are planning to do your own thing, factor in uber or transit costs.
You will see so much, it's definitely a bucket list jam packed itinerary/trip.
Some of the local tours in which there was the opportunity to purchase items was not long enough. Every time we tried to buy a product from the local presentation, we did not have enough time to complete all the paperwork and purchase before the tour was moving and out of time.
The itinerary was fantastic in showing us a little bit of the different regions in Italy. Would have liked longer in Positano but you can't have everything. Venice was better than I thought it would be. Cruising on Lake Como was just amazing. We were able to do as much or as little as we wanted to. was an excellent tour guide who was so organised we got to see and do some much more than I thought we would. A huge thank you to for driving us around and to for making this holiday just perfect for us.
It is busy tour and we were on the go a lot but we wanted that so we could see more. We loved the moving from place to place. We learned so much and got to see so many amazing cities with so much history.
Very busy but worth it to fit everything in the time frame. Most accommodation was good.
Everything was fine except for the hotel in Pompeii. It was horrid. Our guide was great as was our bus driver. The local guides in Pompeii and Florence were especially interesting.
Perfect design
