Fabulous locations visited. Exceptional planning and organisation by our Tour Director Lisa every step of the way. And our coach driver George gave us extremely safe transit. Was worth every cent. Highly recommend
We saw all of the amazing sites on the Greek mainland. It was busy but relaxing because we traveled in the comfort of the coach bus. We experienced traditional Greek meals, cooking demonstrations and dancing. Our travel director was amazing! She was caring and gave us so much history and stories of current daily life in Greece.

exemplary
Great itinerary.Just what we wanted to see a bit of mainland Greece without doing a long trip.
While it was vigorous, it was doable. For those interested in the history of Greece, it was just enough to whet one's appetite.
It was quite a hot trip at this time of year but the places were excellent. Some of the local guides were great but some were a little tedious.
Well organised short 5 day itinerary if you discount day 1 and day 7 which is basically just arrival and departure days respectively. Hotels are alright. Knowledgeable local expert.
The itinerary was excellent, covering the general points of interest across the country. I would suggest some sort of list for other areas/places that are not included to entice people back to the country. The distances covered are broken up well with comfort stops. Our guide also suggested that we visit the Acropolis museum which was not included. We had 3 days in Athens after the tour and enjoyed a half day tour to the beach which was magical. I would suggest an option of extra days with a beach day perhaps.
The trip was filled with amazing historical sites as well as the opportunity to experience Greek culture through food and shopping. We had no worries - our tour director, did a fabulous job of keeping us on track and well informed. She had lots of fun facts and always displayed respect and patience with our group. Our driver, was very competent as he navigated through some very challenging streets.
Very good
Great tour of interesting and historic areas of Greece with a wonderful tour director. We highly recommend Insight Tours for this and other tours. They always exceed our expectations.
It is alot of walking, climbing and careful stepping which all the above relates to seeing the ancient ruins. Athens was strangely not what I expected. The ruins are in better shape than the city. City life would not be a desire there.
An amazing way to see some truely mind-blowing highlights of the history and beauty of this country.
Glories of Greece was - well - glorious. From beautiful Athens we stood on the ancient Acropolis hill surveying the entire city. Then from there drove in the comfortable coach with our group of travellers to soaring mountains, pristine coastlines, lush rural regions, ancient sites and experienced the magnificent history, culture, landscapes, fresh food, luscious wine, and of course the olives and olive oil that is Greece. Visits to stunning museums displaying beautifully curated artefacts provided a glimpse into the lives of the ancestors from prehistory and ancient history. The hotels we stayed in were excellent with delicious breakfasts and were situated in picturesque settings. The pace was moderate offering plenty to see each day. I highly recommend this trip.
Warm people about challenging walking. We were fine and could handle. Others could not.
There is a lot of serious walking which participants need to be aware of. I was fine and could handle. Provide more current information on Greece as we are traveling the countryside
Pace, variety of experiences, impromptu opportunities, accommodations, knowledgeable guides, and a very amazing travel director!
Too early departures / cut times down in between stops.
Be able to navigate steps and rough terrain
