Loved the selection of places visited, interesting and varied.
Super interesting and informative. Our tour guide, was excellent, both in her knowledge and her organization skills. We saw so many places we would never have seen in spite of the unbearably hot temperatures. Walking in the heat proved a challenge but the tour was well worth it
The hotels and buses were terrific, our bus driver amazingly skilled at navigating tight spots, and our tour guide was fun and informative. We enjoyed seeing the popular places in Rome and the Amalfi Coast while also having some down time in smaller towns with great history and culinary opportunities.
Easy paced tour nice food and good accommodation
Coverage of the Vatican was light without entrance to St. Peter’s or the Sistine Chapel, due to the recent election of a new Pope. But, touring the Pantheon, the Colloseum, Borghese Gardens, Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain made up for it. Alberobello, with its Truli houses, was fascinating. Matera was amazing, and our visit to Polignano a Mare was a dream. The highlight of the tour for me was the boat tour around the Island of Capri. There are no words to describe the beauty. And Positano was the icing on the cake.
We enjoyed all of the places we visited.
Needs one more day in Sorrento. Do Positano a different day.
Great itinerary; however, the stop for a viewpoint looking out over the Ionian Sea did not have much appeal. Accommodations were wonderful except for the hotel in Matera. Our group was not able to stay in the MH Matera as planned. The one we stayed in was just average compared to the rest. I was disappointed. Otherwise, a wonderful trip. Thank you Insight Vacations!
Great itinerary for first time visit to Italy. I loved the time in Sorrento,Capri,Positano!
