The hike is amazing - one of the best I have done. However there was a lack of organisation on this trip which meant we were constantly behind time and having to rush. Stopping for 2 broken down buses and then our bus breaking down delayed us - this would have been fine if it had been communicated but we were just left waiting about wondering. The guide then offered to not do the planned trek and just walk straight down to the oasis (accommodation) the same route as you walk back up the 2nd day. We were disappointed with this as we had paid for a trek. This was put to a vote which made the group dynamics pretty awkward initially as it was a 50/50 split. The accommodation was comfortable - basic but very clean and warm beds, cold shower though but that is to be expected!! Wifi too was a bonus! We were also running very late the second day due to some of the group being slower. This is not the guides fault at all but other groups we had spoken too the guide had recommended the slower members hire a mule up. Despite the lack of organisation it is a good scenic hike and Melissa was a good guide. We just felt it was very disorganised and for a group of 12 should have had 2 guides.
