My trip ran reasonably smoothly, no major issues other than some minor problems with dinners and payments. The trip was great, the map was helpful as there were times when the markers went other directions than what the map does like just outside Villafranca. But there are also multiple options across the whole route on which direction you take. Otherwise, the majority of people were great, as normal the level of assistance is up and down but there were some really nice people along the way. I know this is my own fault but it would be helpful to know a little bit of the language, I had no clue about Spanish and it would have been helpful.
So glad I used them for my El Camino walk. I will use them again.
I loved my self-guided Camino. I was very pleased with the accommodation and our bags were waiting for us at every stop along the way. Good value for money and great service. Thank you!
They did a great job of planning a high quality experience for us on the Camino de Santiago. Accommodations were very comfortable, luggage was transported efficiently, food and meals were very good for the most part. All the partners were gracious and helpful.
Everything perfect. The itinerary for walking the Camino beautifully balanced with walking days and rest days. Accomodation excellent as was the luggage transfer system.
Perfect for someone doing the Camino for the first time.
They did a great job of organising our Camino trip. We really only had one hiccup on the entire trip where our accommodation had been incorrectly booked but this may have been the fault of either the venue or the company they use in Spain to make the reservations and it was quickly remedied. All in all our accommodation was a mix of charming/amazing and adequate, our bags always turned up and our meals were fine and sometimes extraordinary too. You’re always going to get a mix of standards on the Camino whether you book it yourself or you use a company to book on your behalf. Their pre-departure advice was spot on and GPS files very helpful. I would definitely use them again.
Very well organized; good choices of accommodation. Sophie responded very well to all queries. Will use them again definitely.
A wonderful trip made so easy with all the hassle taken care of...the luggage transfers were a breeze, the hotel exceeded my expectations and the food was fabulous, especially the final dinner in Santiago de Compostela...that was an amazing feast!
Stress free travel, great to have luggage transfers, accommodation (did not disappoint) and many of the meals during our recent 2 week walking adventure along the Camino Frances. The hotels chosen were perfect.
Immerse yourself in the spiritual and cultural heart of Spain on the "Camino - Leon to Santiago" self-guided walking trip. Over 17 days, this moderately paced tour leads you from the historic city of Leon through rolling countryside, picturesque villages, and mountain valleys to the revered Santiago de Compostela.
Along the way, you’ll pass countless churches, monasteries, and symbols of pilgrimage, experiencing the living legacy of the Way of St James.
