My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. Beautiful scenery and we learned a lot. Our tour leader Mat is amazing he did his very best to keep us going and busy specially during the second part of the tour, mykonos ans santorini always we have something to do everyday. He is an asset.

We really enjoyed our tour ""Best of Greece"". The time is packed full of great sights and experiences. This is definitely the way to go if you are wanting to see and do a lot. We were completely exhausted by the end of the tour, but it was definitely worth it.

I love Greek History and Mythology and this tour satisfied my curiosity, not to mention the spectacular views esp Mykonos and Santorini. Our tour leader Matt made our tour more interesting. Highly recommended!

Never having been to Greece before, we found the country to be very mountainous and hilly. However, we enjoyed the ancient ruins very much and enjoyed seeing the places where the the Western World had its very beginnings. We also enjoyed seeing the original Olympic sites.

Very lucky to have met such amazing, cool, and considerate people and also having Victoria as our tour Lead. She was very approachable and professional at the same time.

I would have liked to stay in the cities/towns to explore them at our own pace. We were on the go and up very early. After all it is a vacation and not a marathon.

Loved the tour & our tour leader (Marty) was fantastic. We enjoyed every part of this tour from the history, the relics, museums, guided tours. The Monasteries of Meteora & the small town of Kalampaka were something else & the amazing day trips from the beautiful islands where we swam from the boat & from the gorgeous beaches was yet another highlight. This tour went way beyond our expectations & I would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful experience and loved the meteora mountains and Santorini especially.

The trip was amazing! The Best of Greece tour covers all the main highlights you'd want to see in Greece and more! The included experiences were great and the optional excursions give you the opportunity to do and learn even more. Our tour guide, Matt, was knowledgeable and our bus driver, Tasos, was very skilled. The hotel accommodations varied from acceptable to excellent. Breakfasts were generally good, but the included lunches and dinners were hit or miss. We loved visiting Kalambaka and Mykonos; we would have liked more time staying in Nafplion and visiting Delos. Best of Greece was a fantastic vacation -- however, we wouldn't necessarily recommend it specifically as a honeymoon (as we did) because it is a very group-centered trip, especially during the first week. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend this Expat Explore trip!

The tour operator created a fantastic itinerary with the Best of Greece tour! The first half tours mainland Greece, bringing to life historic ruins and ancient myths. The Monasteries of Meteora and original Olympic stadium are bright highlights. The second part of the tour transports you to the iconic islands of Mykonos and Santorini, with beautiful beaches and scenic views. Our tour leader Matt ensured we enjoyed our experience by arranging group dinners, entertaining us with stories about the Greek gods, and showing us the highlights of the entire country! I look forward to my next tour with Expat.

Also, the most important part was our tour leader Matt, without him this tour couldn't be more special. He is very professional, knowledgeable, organized, friendly and a great group leader. My dreams came true to discover the South America that I dreamt to go for many many years. Thank you Expat to organise such a wonderful tour covered most of the cities and tourist places. But, FYI, the itinerary at day 18, 19, 20, 21 never mention about the high attitude of Chile Desert and Bolivia Desert, and the attitude of La Paz which is almost 4000m above sea level. This caused me attitude sickness for 3 days no food and no sightseeing with photos. If you have informed about the high attitude my GP definitely will prescript me the high attitude sickness pills. Lastly, last 2 days at Lima of Peru, while I was on my own out to old town of Lima, my phone was snatched away...luckily passport, the rest of money I kept them in the hotel safe. Spent 4 hours at Lima police station and did not know the right of being tourist in Lima. After the report, Police get Ibis hotel to take me back to hotel with no charge me. Love this tour very very much, except I am a bit unlucky...next tour will be more alert. Lan Hua Loo 201923654

Was great except for some very early wake-up times which were sometimes unnecessary and hard on the bodily systems. I selected below that I would recommend this to a friend but caution them about the early hours for some of the excursions

although a solo traveler, I never felt alone or excluded on this trip. I met some great people and shared lots of laughs.

Tour leader need training to learn treat every one in tour equal . He gave every night better rooms to same people, when i complained he answered stupidly . I believe he likes white people more . He left a very bad memory for us in the end of nice tour .

This trip was amazing and was able to see all the things I wanted to for my list and there was so many extra things there as well.From the Acropolis of Athens to the monasteries of Meteroa and the Ancient Olympia site everything was brilliant and so well done and organised and Stacey did such an excellent job it all went so smoothly. The final days on Mykonos and Santorini were the perfect way to finish the tour

I have seen so much on this tour... Memories for life. The people you meet from all over the world, the ancient sites you will visit and the experience you take back home with you is priceless. I did this trip as a solo female traveller and I will recommend this trip to other solo traveller's. Our tour manager, Stacey was very knowledgeable about the sites and was helpful in every way possible. All in all a very well organized trip!

Stacey was the best tour guide that we could have ever asked for! :) She's caring (always checking up on us to see if we were okay. and it was really a warm gesture to me as I was 4 months pregnant during our trip), accommodating to our needs, going for an extra mile to even arrange transport on our extra nights out for us to explore the various places so that we can spend more time exploring. Definitely 5 stars for our tour guide! 4 stars for the trip! (Hope that the optional excursion to the hot mud at Santorini was stated clearly that we had to jump into the open waters to reach the hot mud area near the shore as half of us didnt go down the waters due to the reason that we have to swim in the open sea waters which was around 10m deep. And slightly disappointed with South Coast Boat Trip at Mykonos 75 euros, the picnic that they have mentioned was just a piece of dry hard bread with olives, lunch was chicken and chips, and Paradise Beach was fully occupied with sunbeds which left little room to place our towels in front of the water, not to mention the whole area of the beach is pretty small too. I like the Black Sand Beach at Mykonos though) The rest of the optional excursions are AWESOMEEEE! < 3

This was an awesome trip with a wonderful itinerary. I highly recommend doing the optional excursions. The Greek dancing/olive oil tasting was exceptional. So was the Day trip on Santorini.

Stacey had a wonderful sense of humour which made our trip a very unique experience. Stacey is a gem of a tour leader. Hats off to Stacey!

I must say that I was very impressed with the smoothness of the entire tour. All of the buses/transfers went smoothly, which engenders a sense of confidence in your company. Our tour guide, Erin, was quite remarkable: she was able to keep the group informed and moving along and she had a great sense of humor as well! The sites in Greece were breath-taking, especially if you are a history buff of ancient Greece: Athens and the Acropolis, Delphi, Olympia, Epidarus, and Delos. We took time on Mykonos and Santorini to rest and relax. We felt that it was very worth the money we spent!

What an amazing trip! Every day was special - the history, old ruins, culture, food, the beautiful islands and the wonderful Greek people. We also were lucky to have the lovely Laura as our guide and Tassios as our expert driver

I enjoyed traveling in Greece, its a beautiful country with ,mountains on my left and right when we were traveling out of Athen. Beautiful beaches too! Most of toilets were clean and free to use. Though I had bad experiences on the first 2 days in Athen, my things and money got stolen, my phone was left behind in a toilet in a shop. My tour leader, Vivien and driver, Tasos, helped me to locate my phone. Tasos took and put it in the hotel which Expat's group stayed. I got my phone back, my impression on Athen as an unsafe city has changed. Thanks to them. Expat is really a reliable tour company !!!

This was was our second Expat tour and it was just as marvelous as our first!!! From start to finish, it was top notch. We highly recommend it.
