Depart Athens this morning and travel to Kalambaka. En route, pause at Thermopylae to admire the statue of Leonidas, King of Sparta. Then, continue to Kalambaka, a prime base for exploring Meteora's iconic landscapes and monasteries. Visit a Byzantine art workshop upon arrival to witness local artisans creating works of Christian Greek art. Afterward, check into the hotel and unwind. End the day with a captivating sunset drive through the Meteora hills, offering breathtaking views of the monolithic pillars and cliff-top monasteries — a photographer's paradise! Tonight, indulge in traditional Greek cuisine for dinner at the hotel, savouring the flavours of the region!

Enjoy free time in Kalambaka this morning. Opt for independent exploration or join the exciting optional excursion to the monasteries of Meteora. Explore the hills and magnificent sandstone formations of Meteora, visiting two awe-inspiring cliff-top monasteries. This afternoon, the tour journeys across central Greece's mountains to Delphi. Upon arrival, embark on an orientation tour led by your tour leader. End the day with an included dinner, followed by free time to unwind as you wish.

This morning, enjoy free time or join the highly recommended excursion to explore Delphi with a local guide. Admire the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Treasury of the Athenians, and visit the renowned Delphi Museum! Next, journey along the Coast of Corinth and take a short ferry ride to the vibrant Greek island of Trizonia. This almost car-free island, 2.5 km² in size, boasts a unique atmosphere and offers the opportunity for independent exploration or to enjoy lunch at a local eatery. Afterward, return via ferry to Glyfada and head to ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the original Olympic Games in 776 BC! Tonight, immerse yourself in Greek culture with an optional evening of traditional food and dance.

Uncover Olympia's wonders with a guided tour of the Olympia Museum and ancient site before travelling to the picturesque town of Nafplion, Greece's former capital, framed by the imposing Palamidi Castle. Enjoy an included lunch before joining the optional tour to Epidaurus, immersing yourself further in Greece's rich history and culture. Return to Nafplion and check into the hotel for the evening.

Visit Mycenae and discover the tomb of Agamemnon and the renowned Lion Gate, steeped in ancient Greek mythology! Explore the historic grounds with an expert guide. Depart from Mycenae towards Athens, pausing for breathtaking views of the Corinth Canal. Upon arrival in Athens, embark on a city tour with a knowledgeable local guide, and discover iconic landmarks like the Academy, National Library, Greek Parliament, Panathinaikos marble stadium, Hadrian’s Arch, and the temple of Olympian Zeus.
