Madrid Tours in July 2026

This is a rigorous, but glorious trip. Lots of hills to climb and steps. We prepared two months physically for this trip. A note informing people about the physical requirement would be helpful.

This was an amazing trip with the guidance of our tour director and driver who was an expert driver and who kept us safe throughout our journey. Learned a lot about the history and culture of Spain and indeed saw the wonders of this country. It was very interesting and I would also like to send kudos and appreciation to each tour guides we had in each place. I am looking forward to another exciting trip with Trafalgar . Thank you again .

This was a wonderful trip! I think that it has a great balance of sight-seeing, and down time. I do think there could be less time spent in Morocco, and more time spent in Spain, Portugal, and Gibraltar. The extra excursions are definitely worth it as well.

I loved the country of Spain and feel I received an understanding of the country as a whole. The various cities visited offer a different experience. Not only do the people and culture seem unique for each city, but the climate also changed as we moved along. This is a great way to learn about Spain and find a spot you'll come back to for another visit.

Our family had a fantastic, memorable time. It was the first time our child had been abroad. Our travel director was great. Very supportive and knowledgeable. Worked the many challenges that can come up with a large group. Understanding about my special needs child. Loved the 'Be my Guest' at the Olive plantation and the 'Make travel matter' supporting a woman's cooperative. The Flamenco dinner was very good. The stops chosen and local specialists gave a good taste of the country. Very fast-paced. If you want to shop, be ready to jump in fast at the opportunities you see...and possibly not do an 'optional activity' to make time. We did think that more of the 'optional' experiences should have been included in the tour package [i.e. Flamenco dinner]. Very nice to have our luggage picked up at our hotel doors. Did have a problem with some hotels restricting children from using the pool. Not very family friendly! The suggested tips seemed steep to us--seems like the cost of the tour should have included proper renumeration for TD and bus driver, and the tips should be just an extra 'thank you'. Overall wonderful trip.

This trip is packed with sights and experiences! Sometimes it is a bit busy and you’d fair better taking a pass on an optional walking tour with your large group. Pass on the seafood feast. Schedule in 1-2 downtimes or book your optionals as you go… not all at once. Most optionals are worth it though! Ask for more time at Fatima if you want to shop or attend mass. Research your stops to know whats most important to you. Time goes by too fast! Don’t miss the barcelona optional trip with ! He is excellent! Hope you get and … they are wonderful!
