Madrid Tours in June 2027

Packed full of interesting and enjoyable experiences. The quality of the hotels are high, the bus is amazing with huge leg room and great views no matter where you sit. The included and optional experiences are well worth the cost. I would highly recommend this tour it the second tour I have done with Insight Vacations and I would consider going again.

Interesting itinerary...was disappointed in casablanca only seeing a mosque from a distance and a phony Rick's Cafe from the movie. Accommodations were excellent except for Tangiers where we were stuck in a handicapped room. The worst experience of the tour was embarking the ferry between Spain and Morocco. Having to drag a 50 pound suitcase and carryon bag up a steep ramp was not fun. Our tour director gets a 10+ accessible, personable, and extremely knowledgeable.

Our tour director ************, and Bus Driver Joseph were excellent. The bus was excellent and comfortable. The seat rotation policy and seating allocation plan was put up every day. The instructions from your director was clear. Local expert guides were overall good with one exception, that is Barcelona. Most of the hotels we stayed in were good except two hotels. All in all it was a good, well organised, and enjoyable. Would recommend it for others. I took all the optional dinners, which I felt was a mistake. The optional dinner in Lisbon was not good. We were packed into uncomfortable seats and crowded atmosphere. The best optional dinner we had was in Porto. The included dinners in the tour were overall good, except in Granada. The hotel in Granada was not good.

Well paced, but a lot of walking!! So buy good shoes. Beautiful country packed with history. Great price as well! Best tour leader I've had to date. His name is Atakan

This was a great trip!! It was a great overview of all regions of Spain. did an amazing job as tour coordinator. The entire trip she added to the sights by providing information and experiences which enhanced our understanding of the regions and made things fun! As always Trafalgar provided a high quality experience.

This was an excellent over view of Spain. It was a trip that you need to be in shape for hiking up steps, hills, rough pavement, cobblestones. It was a very exhausting trip. It definately is not for "older adults with ambulatory challenges". I felt that the 2 hour afternoon hikes were too long and lost interest after about an hour. It was hot and we were tired from the bus ride, morning hikes were better. Our bus drivers and tour guide were awesome. The resturants and most hotels were great. Most of the guides were ok, some were very hard to understand due to their accents. Would have appreciated some of the local guides to keep the group together, some just walked very fast and left part of the group trying to keep up. Not everyone walks same pace. They should be very truthful about the steep hills, rough turaine this need.s to be posted so when deciding this trip are aware if the difficulty and challenges. Would have enjoyed more free time to shop and explore some of the towns. Was a great trip, learned a lot about Spains history, culture and traditions
