Madrid 17-Day Tours and Trips

All the hotels we stayed in were top rate. All of our local tour guides were extremely knowledgeable. We were lucky to have as our tour guide for our five days in Morocco! We were constantly on the go, learning as we went.

Visited some very interesting places and met some friendly people on the way. Journeyed through very some very beautiful landscape. The tour guides were very good and knowledgable in particular would like to thank Maria RODRIGUEZ who accompanied us for a large part of the tour.

In general the trip itinerary was all that I wanted to do, however, there where many things that were foreseeable that where going to affect the trip and NO previous measure was taken, which eventually disappointed me of how it ended up being the trip. Things like the fact that Granada was going to be closed earlier and make us run to arrive on time but just let us be sitting in the hotel for a long time, or arriving very late to Fez and not having proper time to stay in the place could have been better handled. In particular, I want to complain about the fact that we were suppossed to go to Alicante, we voted in the bus about skipping this city and two of us said NO to not going to the place and our guided decided to do whatever he wanted thinking we were joking. Not happy about my complaint, Abdel Salam (the guide) wrote to me in my personal whatsapp about his dissapointment of me complaining which I believe is extremly unprofessional. The night of the 31st of December was also a huge dissapointment. And the lack of consistency and overall bad quality of the hotels was not in accordance to what you advertise in your brochures.

These guys delivered. From the moment we landed in Paris, everything was taken care of: the transfers, guides, comfortable hotels, even entrance tickets to major sites. We explored iconic French towns like Giverny and Amboise, and that day in Mont-St-Michel was something I’ll remember forever. The Spain portion felt like a warm breeze after the cooler French north..Montserrat’s mountaintop monastery was stunning, and I loved our time in Barcelona. The evenings were ours, which meant we could explore or just relax with a glass of wine. I met people my age from across North America, and it was so refreshing to travel with others who wanted to experience culture, but not at a breakneck pace. Highly recommend for anyone who wants that balance of exploration and comfort.
