Madrid 13-Day Tours and Trips

It was a great trip. Very well organized and did an excellent job getting such a large group from place to place. We had an excellent tour director in and he and our bus driver were an excellent team. The only issues on the trip occurred with air conditioning and cleanliness in a couple of the hotels in the smaller cities. Overall it was one of the best trips I've taken with Trafalgar.

It was great to enjoy some of the less travelled roads to some amazing destinations. Our tour leader was superwoman - organised, knowledgeable, helpful and thoughtful. Our driver was very competent and considerate and safe. I highly recommend this tour - it was a great experience for someone who was new to travelling and for anyone looking for a friendly small group adventure.

Our tour director ************, and Bus Driver Joseph were excellent. The bus was excellent and comfortable. The seat rotation policy and seating allocation plan was put up every day. The instructions from your director was clear. Local expert guides were overall good with one exception, that is Barcelona. Most of the hotels we stayed in were good except two hotels. All in all it was a good, well organised, and enjoyable. Would recommend it for others. I took all the optional dinners, which I felt was a mistake. The optional dinner in Lisbon was not good. We were packed into uncomfortable seats and crowded atmosphere. The best optional dinner we had was in Porto. The included dinners in the tour were overall good, except in Granada. The hotel in Granada was not good.

This tour took us through a wonderful variety of landscapes, historical sites and picturesque villages. As we drove, we learned about the civilizations that had moved into each area over thousands of years, the effect that had on the culture and beliefs of the inhabitants. We visited traditional farms and businesses which produced food and wine that is famous around the world. Our guide was delightful in gently unwrapping each of the regions we visited to make our experiences authentic and memorable.

It was a fabulous tour. Great tour guide and the experiences we had were superb. Some great walks to El Hambre and plenty of time to get explore and rest. The accomodation was simply amazing, most was situated in the old Medina’s. The driver was excellent and we travelled at a good rate. Plenty of photo stops and historical information made the venture memorable.

We can highly recommend Iberian Inspiration as we loved it. Our group was fantastic and we had so much fun traveling throughout Spain. Our group leader(s) were knowledgable and we all became friends. This trip was our third trip with Blue-Roads and once again we were impressed with the choice of activities (especially the ones that were not planned), and hotels. We will definitely return for another trip with Blue-Roads
