Fast & informative! Erin was a wonderful tour director. She coordinated us perfectly. Places are fascinating, tour speakers were knowledgeable. I would recommend to everyone. Loved Greece & this tour!

I wanted to see the the historical highlights of the Peloponnese and this was a perfect way to do it. Visits to the Acropolis, Olympia and Delphi were peak lifetime experiences and the other places visited were rich with interesting and informative sites and artifacts. The local guides were well informed and added to the experience. The accommodations were very comfortable, some in spectacular locations. The food was very good and in some cases excellent, especially the optional dining experiences. The bus was new and comfortable and the driver kept it pristine and was excellent at negotiating the tight streets in towns. There are some long rides on this tour. But the real gem was our tour director. Her knowledge of history, mythology and local culture was astonishing and she delivered it clearly with passion and a touch of humour .She also managed challenges with aplomb and looked after each member of our group with respect and attention to their individual needs

I’ve been wanting to go to Greece for its history, a sim so glad my wish have come true! It was a lot of walking and climbing but soo worth it! Our tour director JANITA & driver Pirro are the best! They made our long bus trips very comfortable and the bus was always kept clean . i’ve done a lot of traveling with other tour groups but this is the most enjoyable trip for me. The hotels were very nice and clean and the Greek people are so nice and friendly. Most of all, we found the best chocolates! i wish we bought a whole suitcase! 😂

Beautiful Greece you got me in your dreams. It was a fantastic trip and Trafalgar has done good to have people like Simone and Dimitri running the show at felt very welcome and appreciated.

Athens was hectic. It would have been nice to have dinner included after the tiresome day. Maybe another day at Athens would be easier on the knees and physical stamina of senior citizens.

This was my first group tour trip as I was skeptical about the possible tight itinerary schedule. I have to admit that it was better than I expected. Our travel director and driver were fabulous. Kuddos to for his excellent driving and maneuvering skills. Top notch! was so knowledgeable, personable and simply a joy. I only have two negatives. Firstly, when I purchased this tour, the first day itinerary on your website was a little vague about the guided tour of the Acropolis. I intentionally contacted your Customer Support twice to speak with different reps, to question what we will be doing. I was informed that after breakfast, we would be leaving the Divani hotel at 7:30 am for an Athens bus city tour, then ending at the Acropolis Museum and having the rest of the day free to do whatever we wish. I asked if this Best of Greece package included a guided tour of the Acropolis and was told twice, absolutely not. I thought that was a little odd, so since I arrived three days prior to the start of this tour, my husband and I paid to see the Acropolis. During our first meeting at the start of the tour, I mentioned this to and she was surprised that I was told that as well, since she confirmed that both the Acropolis and the museum are included in this tour. Our second negative is that the comfort level of the mattresses at the Amelia Hotel were a hit and miss. Some where super firm, another soft and another medium firm. Not sure if anything can be done about that, but I can only comment that the one in Nafplio felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Additionally, overall the room was not very clean. The floor could have used a good mop, there was long black hair in the bathtub, the shower curtain only covered half of the the bathtub and the furniture looked tired. The shower heads in the rest of the Amelia hotels were a bit challenging to use, but the rooms were in better condition. Speaking to some of the other folks in our group, they commented the same thing about the bathrooms in Nafplio, and one said there was mold in the bathroom walls and there was a lot of peeling paint on the back of the bathroom door. Overall, I would certainly recommend to friends or family the Best of Greece tour with Trafalgar.
