It was not well communicated that the last night is in Barcelona, so on the departure day you have to take a 7-8 hour coach ride to Madrid, arriving at 1800.
My only complaint is that the tour does not end in Madrid. It ends in Barcelona. It takes 8 hours by bus to drive back to Madrid from Barcelona. The tour makes you think it’s a quick drive to the Madrid airport so no one does this option. The tour should description should have the tour ending in Barcelona not Madrid. If you want to go back to Madrid, take the train. It’s less than 3 hours.
Very comprehensive tour. I enjoyed the tour vecause of the family like ambiance and the courteous treatment from the Insight crew.
Tour Started in Madrid and ended in Madrid. However all the other guests ended the tour in Barcelona while we had a one day coach trip back to Madrid with an extra hotel booking and transfer
Itinerary per se good but were wrongly advised during purchase to finish in Madrid. This involved a long and tiring trip back to Madrid from Barcelona just for the 2 of us!! We were also told that an additional hotel night in Barcelona was not possible! We then had to cancel our flight out of Barcelona! Others in our group were given an additional night in the hotel and flew out of Barcelona.
