The trip promised 'the best of Norway' and that is exactly what we got. From breathtaking fjords to majestic mountains, visits to a working farm, museums were all excellent. Our superb driver, Trond, made driving on switchback roads look easy, and he made us all feel absolutely safe and secure. Our amazing Tour Director, Lasse, did a stellar job of informing us about history, culture, myths and legends of Norway during the driving portions of the trip - and his way of doing so kept us all engaged and entertained. My husband and I have worked and traveled around the world, but this was our first experience of group travel. We were concerned that it would feel too 'packaged' and restrictive. Instead, we found it was liberating to have someone move our bags each day and make all arrangements for a truly excellent vacation/holiday. Thanks to Lasse and Trond and, of course to Trafalgar.

That they consider to add to their budget the optional experience as a "must". Yes it is optional but if they don't do it what will they do stay on the bus !!

The itinerary was fantastic, and overall, I was very pleased with the trip to Norway. However, I encountered a problem with the accommodation. I chose shared lodging with someone of the same gender, but in most hotels, we were provided with a double bed, which I found rather odd. Other than that, everything was excellent.

The places and scheduling were great. We are glad we came in a day early to Oslo, giving us a chance to get on the water there as well as seeing the Opera house. Travel Director was tremendous. Some of the "guides" at specific stops were a bit disappointing in that they seemed rushed and not real responsive to questions. Anyway. we've made positive recommendations to a number of friends.
