Absolutely love Expat Explore this is our second time and they really know how to look after you. Loved Greece and the people were lovely, very relaxed. Will definitely go with Expat again, Well done guys Regards Arlene and Scott Cameron.

We got so much more out of it than what we expected for such good value. Matt is a very intelligent, helpful, professional and diplomatic tour leader and we wish him well for any of his future plans. The coach driver Babios was superb as was the coach.

Overwhelmed and pleased. The bus was comfortable and our driver was safe. Our tour leader, Matt, was awesome and patient for the many demands and questions of the many people. The guides for our chosen tours were very good. One of them needed a microphone setup, tho. The hotels were fine and all with good wifi and average, good enough food. Sometimes I felt rushed but I am slow. And they always waited for me

I last travelled in Greece as an independent traveller 45 years ago. Travelling with Expat this time round has been a great experience. Our guide Victoria made sure everything ran smoothly, my fellow travellers from many parts of the world were interesting and considerate, and we had amazing experiences. This was a very busy itinerary and was tiring at times, but worth it for the fascinating history and the great food experiences.

The EBG1L tour starts at Athens and Ends in Athens at the same Candia Hotel where in the rooftop have swimming pool for cooling down overlooking a magnificent view of Acropolis. The timings and arrangement of daily activities were spot on on time, not hectic and no pressure affect on me or anyone I think. Smooth planning of our tour leader Marty is the key to all that smooth run. Thasos our Greek God driver made a huge contibution as well for our safety and safe travel of all places we went to. Our Coffee stops and bathroom breaks helps us stretch up and able to get our snacks along the way, so I never seen anyone uses the toilet in the coach. Cold water is also available for your purchase at Fifty Cents Euro at the Coach. Everyone elses get along very well and we have our favourite Greek music played along to warn you or a waking up sign as we are very close to our destinations. The tour guides hired for history telling were all so knowledgeable, facts and use of photographs helps alot to make you fully understands their explanations. I truly enjoyed the tour and will be back again as there are more to see and explore.

I absolutely loved the experience that Vivian provided me. I actually want to book my trip with her as my guide. The group was small in number and it made for a great time.

It has always been my dream to visit the Meteora and the rest of the tour was a bonus…

The tour was comprehensive and well organised. Our tour leader Vivien and driver Tsasos were both amazing. A couple of days were maybe too full and therefore a bit long.

This tour covered may places in Greece without ever becoming stressful, and not too many early mornings. Lovely group of people to travel with.

I had such a great time on this tour! I love that everything is planned ahead of time and we are able to choose what excursions we'd like to join. Everyone is always so nice and really is a community experience. Can't wait for my next trip with Expat Explore!

We traveled with my brother, sister and spouses on this trip we had been planning since 2019. Matt our guide and Tasos our bus driver were delightful, fun and informative. This was all of our first Ex Pat trip and we loved the group travel dynamic. Even when there were the usual travel glitches everyone stayed in good spirits and made it a part of the experience. Only 2 suggestions - with one of the guides we were given the headphones and it significantly enhanced the experience for all of us. The other guides were hard to hear and understand unless you were very close. The Acropolis is such an iconic site it really needs to be included either early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowds and to have enough time to take it all in. We can't believe all that we got to see and experience in 6 days! We will travel with ExPat again!

We had a great time exploring Greece! Matt and Tsasos were excellent! They got us around Greece safely and in a timely manner while Matt really added to the fun! This was our 4th expat tour and certainly one of our favorites. We will be looking out for other tours with Matt in the future!

The archaeological sites and museums were amazing when explained by the local guides. There were numerous stairs and irregular surfaces to navigate, but it was worth the effort. Should have brought my walking sticks! The local dishes at the meals were appreciated. Our tour leader was knowledgeable in so many aspects of Greek life and culture.

There are some small recommendations I made while filling out the evaluation on the tour. They are small compared to the value and the experiences on this tour.

The tour took us to the various archaelogical sites, with ruins of the old civilisations in Kalambaka, Delphi etc. Good food and accommodation strategically located. Good tour leadership with Filip. Very informative narrations of the various places of intetest.

My father and I had a great experience in Athens with all the excursions. Stacey is the tour guide is phenomenal. The hotels and food were great. However, the experience changed when on June 18th at Best Western Candia, $40 Euros was "taken" from me at the front desk in front of the recording camera, in the presence of the receptionist Alexious George and the coworker who "invaded my private space" at the front desk. I made an official complaint to the manager of the hotel who met me on the following day, June 19 prior, to our departure. I was falsely accused of making accusatory remarks about her employees and she did not even apologize. I was offered to view the video 14 hours after my request. I refused then and told her it was no longer necessary. I left the hotel with no reimbursement nor an apology from the manager. I have never had this experience before and its so unfortunate that this put a damp in my spirit. I will not recommend this hotel to my sisters who will be visiting Athens in September 2019.I have written a formal complaint to the tour operator and hope that a resolution will be reached. Customers service excellence is of utmost importance in an industry that offers services to large and diversified groups of people. I hope this will never happen to anyone. Amazing tour; the tour facilitator, the other tour members as well as various tour guides who took us around the various historical sites!

Great trip except no driver to meet me at airport.

The visit to Meteora was definitely the highlight and the lunch in Trisonia. Olympia and Delphi, incredible places and local tour leaders. Definitely a good experience for the price.

Had a wonderful tour leader, Vivian. Very organized tour. Saw some amazing places, especially Meteora and Delphi. Fantastic bus driver, Tassos. Tour guides at Olympia and Delphi were magnificent. Greek night at the "farm" was a lot of fun. We had a great group of fellow travellers and everyone mixed well and were always on time.

The tour was so good, it combined sightseeing all the best parts of Greece and local Greek experiences. We saw Delphi and Olympia with the best local guides, and we saw Meteora at sunset, and then the monasteries the next morning. The optional excursions were really reasonably priced and I recommend all of them, especially the Greek Evening, where we went to a local Greek farm and learnt all about olive oil (always but extra vurgin olive oil) and tried wine and had a beautiful meal followed by dancing. The first 3 days are really relaxed, day 4, 5 and6 are busier, so be prepared for that, but everyday is so good. I love Expat! #Yammas
