Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu 5D/4N

It's hard to pick a favourite moment from this hike - we all enjoyed it thoroughly. The food was really impressive and our entire 'support' team were so friendly and always smiling. Special thanks to our guide who was really patient with us during the trek. The changing scenery from mountains to jungle is really amazing.

This 5 day trek was a dream come true. The landscape changed everyday and was SO beautiful - from forests to mountains to local villages. Our guide was fantastic and we were fed very well. The trek was quite a challenge in parts, but it's totally worth it.

The hike was beautiful, empowering and unforgettable! The tour operator was very reliable and professional, I believe they have been in the business for a long time. Our guide Anderson was a champion! Highly recommended.

It was great getting to Machu Picchu early in the morning as there were not too many tourists. The Salkantay route is really special with impressive views. Our guide Anderson was super passionate about teaching about the local cultures. Thank you Anderson, and the rest of the Bamba team!

Our 5-day Salkantay trek was amazing. The hike is not so easy and one of the guys in the group struggled a bit on day 2 but our guide Anderson was so patient and motivating! This trek showed me some of the most impressive and stunning scenery I've ever seen! It was my first time in my Peru and I had no idea how green it was. I am so glad I picked to do this Salkantay route and that I decided to book with Bamba. They provided a really great guide and were really clear in communicating everything I needed to know.

I will never forget this amazing journey! I've just come home from my month in South America and this five day trek was my favourite part. It's five days that should not be underestimated - the altitude can make this quite tiring. However, Bamba made everything much easier by helping us to organise all the logistics and providing amazing food made with local produce. I would recommend this for sure.
