Itinerary

Seeking an off-the-beaten-path Himalayan adventure? The Manaslu Circuit Trek invites young adults and seasoned trekkers to explore Nepal’s remote Gorkha district, where the route skirts the Tibetan Plateau and delivers a blend of culture, nature, and challenge. Traverse subtropical forests, terraced fields, and high alpine meadows, passing through isolated villages that offer glimpses into traditional Himalayan life.

The trek’s crowning achievement is crossing the exhilarating Larkya La Pass (5,135m), where panoramic views of Annapurna II, Gyagi Kang, and Himlung await. Built-in acclimatization days at Samagaun and Samdo help ensure safety and allow for deeper exploration of Buddhist monasteries and lama settlements steeped in Tibetan influence.

Descending through serene forests and meadows, you eventually rejoin the classic Annapurna circuit before returning to Kathmandu. The unique selling point? This trip offers both high-altitude drama and rare cultural immersion, with fewer crowds and a deeply rewarding trekking experience.

Wonderful Manaslu

The Manaslu circuit trek is just wonderful. Beautiful views, great guide and porter and comfortable stays in welcoming lodges and tea houses.

Manaslu Circuit and Larkya Peak

Had the trip of a lifetime doing the Manaslu Circuit and an attempted climb of Larkya Peak with Sonam as my guide. We ultimately cancelled the climb due to the very high avalanche risk (there even ended up being one the day we were supposed to push up to high camp), but the circuit plus camping up at Larkya Pass to wake up to the sunrise views up there was magnificent in and of itself. Sonam was extremely knowledgeable about the area, where to stay in each town, and even had a good relationship with the locals to hook us up with some unique food options at times. Prakash was very easy to coordinate the trip with, and when the late season monsoon trapped us for a few days in Dharapani due to unsafe road conditions, he was extremely quick to coordinate a helicopter evac. We ultimately ended up being able to walk out, but having someone like that able to support you when conditions deteriorated was very reassuring. I will definitely do another trek/climb with this company the next time I come to Nepal. Thank you again for such a great experience!

Himalaya 360 Grad

Larkya Peak Expedition and Manaslu Circuit

Great adventure of a lifetime! Manaslu area is really one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to (even better that EBC I would say). In the end I was only climber to try to climb Larkya Peak (6249m), but I had to return at 5700m because of much snow, cold feet, little bit late and yes, tired too. I recommand to plan two highcamp-nights, so guides have enough time to prepare fixed ropes. And to start early (2am maybe). Summit day quite demanding, especially to get back to Bimthang on the same day. Namaste, Markus

Great trip, fantastic experience

Manaslu Circuit was a terrific experience - great (and varied) scenery, right amount of challenge and enjoyable first time at altitude crossing Larkya Pass. Tea Houses were basic (as expected), comfortable enough and added to the overall experience - however the food became pretty tedious. Not sure why the "Tourism Board" insists on all tea houses having the exact same menu!

Manaslu week 12 2019

I choosed to hike the Manaslu Circuit during early in the season in order to get away from the crowds found on other treks in the area. Hiking up through bursting warm spring valleys to massive snow mountains is an absolute breathtaking experience. Manaslu is an absolute top trek in Nepal and should be on every hikers bucketlist!

Best experience we ever had

Everything was arranged without problems and clearly explained to us, we got fantastic mountaineering guides Dawa Sherpa. Dawa is an excellent guide, one of the best I've had on all my trekking trips, so we were very happy with everything and thanks for that. Our Manaslu Circuit Trek was Outstanding. I will definitely recommend you to your friends and I will return to Nepal with your team in the next 2 years.

Trip of a Lifetime!!!

I had a wonderful experience trekking Manaslu Circuit with Ngtreks. The trek itself was fantastic- Everything went really well throughout the trek. It was a very positive trip - a fun and challenging trek in a beautiful place, and the staff were friendly and experienced. I'm sure I will be back in Nepal for another trek some day and I'd absolutely go with Nepal Guide again.

Unforgettable Memory in Manaslu Circuit

I visited Nepal more than 20 times over 15 years.Every time I visited Nepal, I feel like this my second home. Mr. Prakash and me know each other more than 10 years during the trekking in Everest Base Camp. Everything time I visit Nepal, Mr. Prakash helps me a lot. So, This time me and 5 friends tour in Nepal for trekking purpose. We all 6 peoples enjoying the day before trekking. we decided to do trekking in Manaslu Region. So, our friend Prakash short briefing about Manaslu Circuit Trekking.I already trekking around 2 times in Manaslu Circuit. So, me and my friends heading towards the Manaslu with our guide Sonam and Pradip. Both guys, I already met in previous trekking that was easy for us knowing each other. We drive to Soti Khola from Kathmandu. Our trekking start from there. we trek several days through different landscape, dense forest, paddy fields, remote village. Our guides told us about village, community around of Manaslu. We chat sometimes with villagers with the helps our guides. We ascending towards the Larkya La pass most challenging and adventurous for us having more than 5000m above the sea level. We cross the larkya la pass with help of our guides. That moment, from the views of stunning images of Annapurna, Kang guru, Himlung, and other mountains. That was magnificent. Everything went fine according to our plan.We don't need to worry about anything during our trekking. Everything provides by Nepal Guide treks is good. Thanks to our guides Sonam and Pradip making a great trip to us.
