Itinerary
Aspiring mountaineers and experienced trekkers alike will be drawn to the challenge of Dhampus Peak Climbing—a journey through both the Annapurna and Mustang regions of Nepal. Also known as Thapa Peak (6,019m), this climb offers a technically straightforward yet rewarding ascent, framed by extraordinary views of the Kali Gandaki valley and over thirty soaring Himalayan peaks, including close-ups of Tukuche and Dhaulagiri.
The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, then follows classic trekking trails through traditional villages and vibrant rhododendron forests. The route includes safe acclimatization at the base camp and a night at high camp (5,600m), ensuring climbers are well-prepared for the summit push.
The return journey winds through Yak Kharka and concludes with a flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, capping off an exhilarating blend of trekking and peak climbing. With moderate physical demands, this tour is tailored for young adults and seasoned adventurers eager to earn panoramic Himalayan views from a rarely summited peak—an achievement to remember for years to come.
