Best explore trip ever, with best guide ever. The mix of activity and visits could not have been better balanced. Full on without being exhausting. I personally would have liked more time at the mountain museum but appreciate others might not. Our guide, Udaya, did his utmost to accommodate those that found the walking a challenge, (even though the trip notes clearly described what to expect). Udaya’s knowledge, enthusiasm and clear love of his country enhanced the trip, even on the long bus journeys there was regular commentary on what we were seeing and short stops of interest. He had concern for our welfare and even joined in with us in a hotel Christmas cake mixing competition after our trip had officially ended. This whole experience will take some beating.

From the beginning to the end World Expeditions provided an exceptional trekking experience. Transfer to the hotel was seamless and the Radisson and its staff provide top class accommodation. This our 3rd trek with WE was to Ama Dablam base camp. and the already high standards et by WE were lifted to another level. Bhim our leader was outstanding, showing exceptional care and knowledge which allowed him to make informed decisions when the weather dictated, without once compromising either our safety or our enjoyment . He had an excellent rapport with us and also with the Nepalese team who supported us. We felt privileged to be with them. The whole team were fantastic, our Cook and kitchen boys provided the most delicious meals, it is amazing what they can cook with limited space and resources, all meals were varied, fresh and very tasty. All aspects of the WE eco camps were really good, clean, warm and of improved quality since our 2019 and 2022 treks. A truly awesome trek which has left us with many happy memories and new friends. The route itself was very beautiful with the most awesome mountain scenery, it was challenging in a good way. The ethos behind WE as a company has led us, and the others in our party, to book with them time and time again. Thankyou to the whole team for another fantastic experience in a beautiful challenging part of the world with lovely humble people.

This was a great trip taking us from kalkata and the southern mangroves to the hills crossing from Darjeeling to the lovely old kingdom of Sikkin to Buthan and finally in Kathmandu. The contrast between them is striking with mountain tops communities temples ancient fortress and beautiful people. So much history. With countries so close you would expect people and costumes to be similar but this could not be further from the truth. Our tour leader Keran had everything organised to a tee and was great company as well a continuous source of knowledge. Just go, before it all changes forever😂😂
