Lisbon (Portugal) - Merida (Spain) - Seville. Once you have arrived in Lisbon, make your way to the meeting point, as we depart for Mérida at 7:30 am. We travel across the Spanish border to reach this historic city, once an important centre of the Roman Empire in Iberia. On arrival, you’ll have free time to explore its outstanding archaeological complex, including the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, both recognised by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. After lunch at your leisure, we continue our journey along the scenic Autovía de la Plata, known as the Silver Route, towards Andalusia. By late afternoon, we arrive in Seville, the lively capital of the region. This evening, enjoy dinner with the group and settle in for the night.
