Our cabin cruise was an absolutely wonderful experience, made even more special by a thoughtful upgrade and an unexpected visit to an additional island. The extra stop turned the journey into something truly unique, adding another layer of adventure to an already beautiful itinerary. What stood out most was how these thoughtful touches made the celebration of my friends’ birthdays unforgettable. From the upgraded accommodations to the surprise destination, everything felt like it was designed to create lasting memories. The crew’s attention to detail and warm hospitality added to the sense of celebration, making us feel valued and cared for throughout the trip. The combination of comfort, adventure, and personalized touches turned this cruise into so much more than just a vacation. It became an experience filled with joy, laughter, and moments we’ll treasure for years to come. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cruise to anyone looking not only for stunning destinations but also for a team that goes the extra mile to make every occasion truly special
We specifically booked THIS tour as it had the cruise to the islands and Kusadasi. If we knew it could so easily be cancelled, we would not have even considered it. Mykonos was nice, but we had limited beach time, as we were only there one night. The coaches, drivers, hotels, restaurants and ferries were amazing, and we couldn't complain about anything. Our Tour Director should get a halo; she was amazing and tried to make the best of everything. Although the food was delicious, three full meals a day were too much and a lot of food was wasted. We are thankful for the effort made to try and compensate for the cancelled cruise, but it was still very disappointing, as we travel from far and it cost us a lot of money to go to Europe. For me, without the islands & Kusadasi visits, this tour was not worth the money.
The Hotel Novotel was ok but the location is left to be desired, it is a very sketchy, unclean and no good restaurant nearby. We paid for a Costsaver tour for Highlight of Greece with Cruise Cat2. I cannot give a proper rating because we only had half the tour/cruise we paid for. 3 days before we left, the cruise was cancelled due to the ship being inoperatable. We were very disapointed because it was our highlight of the trip. Cost savers did not reach out to us for any reimburstment. Especially the "Cruise ship Port tax fees" of $460, that we paid in advance for a ship that never sailed. I have reached out to them via email/phone but as of today we have not received any kind of communacation. So still hoping to have a respond from them, if not, this is curtainly our last trip with Costsaver. This mean they do not stand by their tours offers, very disapointed.
Pretty packed schedule for the time. Some of the locations had challenges meeting dietary request.
Beautiful. Well planned . Saw everything i wanted .Value for money .
Itinerary is organized in a logical fashion. Didn't feel overworked trying to get to different sites.
If you tried to replicate the itinerary on your own, you would miss all the experiences that your travel guides and local experts had to offer! You miss the driver's expertise in getting you to where you need to go!
Our tour director was phenomenal! Without her we would have never been able to experience all that we did. She knew the insights of Greece and Turkey so well and made it so easy to navigate these places. The tour was great. Santorini and Mykonos took my breath away. We also loved swimming on the hotels rooftop pool while glancing at the Parthenon in the distance. Seeing the monastery up in the mountains was extraordinary, the local guides were incredibly knowledgeable and so welcome and to top it off the food was delicious! We also enjoyed the cruise. The cabin was beautiful and the boat had a ton of activities to enjoy. Best trip ever and very budget friendly.
This tour includes a 3 day cruise on a little cruise ship. There is a lot to see and do. Take the optional extra opportunities that are added costs. There was a heat wave in Europe during June/July. If extreme heat doesn't suit you, pick a different month. It's fast paced and a few hours spent in some locations, give you a reason to go back and enjoy at a slower pace. TAke time before and after the tour to prepare and to unwind and further explore.
The itinerary is very misleading. It says you cruise for 3 days and stop at 4 ports. None of it shows the time frames for the trip. We found out that we only got to see Mykonos after dark. We only got off the ship from 8pm-midnight. It was extremely disappointing. And in Santorini, we had to be back on the ship by 2 pm. We were never made aware prior to our trip that we would have such little time on each island. As for the cruise ship. We had cold showers, cold food, a lack of outlets in our cabin (there were 2, both located under the TV and nowhere near the bedside), wifi that cost to use per hour (or buy an all-inclusive package), no cell service in our cabins since they were internal, and food that was lacking in flavor. Each day we would go to eat lunch and dinner at the times that the buffet opened. The food would have just been brought out, and sat in a buffet server that should have been keeping it warm. But we were lucky if the food was barely warm. Food had very little seasoning or flavor to it, it was all extremely plain. Day to day options were limited, there wasn't much variety. If you wanted to drink soda or tea, it wasn't included and needed to be purchased (minus the 6 drink tickets that were provided, they were only able to be used during lunch or dinner). I DO NOT recommend this cruise ship at all.
