Fantastic walk on the Camino - our guide, Pablo was a real asset - he was very knowledgeable and made sure everything ran smoothly.
Pablo, our guide was outstanding. His knowledge and passion for nature, history and communications skills exceeded expectations.
Our guide Pablo was an amazing guide. He made everyone feel happy and relaxed and went over and above to make sure we had a wonderful experience on the Camino. His knowledge was amazing and he was so happy to share this with us. The accomodation was wonderful the whole way and the food was wonderful too.
This was my first ever hiking holiday, so a little apprehensive. It was FABULOUS! Pablo our Guide went above and beyond, the group were great, the accommodation, the food were excellent, and the Camino just beautiful. I had a wonderful experience, and have been telling everyone here about them. Don't think twice - just do it !!
My daughter (33F) & I (65F) did this Camino together and it was an incredible experience. We both loved the areas the walk took us through from Sarria to Santiago. Our group was great. We were diverse in age and countries but we bonded well and supported each other. Our tour guide Pablo was amazing- knowledgeable, funny and caring. I would definitely recommend this tour.
The travel guide, Silvia, has been excellent.
I was very happy with their services for our Camino trip. Everything was done to a high standard - from the accommodation to the meals to the guide. The great organisation meant we could just concentrate on our walking. I also enjoyed the extras such as the visits to a cheese factory, a bee farm and a Romanesque church. Despite some challenging weather on the Camino, we were well looked after and were able to be flexible in our eating and walking times.
Our trip was very well organised. Pre-trip was well supported and in-country guide was great. Would highly recommend this company.
Fantastic tour guide who made all ten of us feel successful in our daily endeavor. The food, breakfasts and dinners were excellent and characteristic of the country.
Recommend them for your Camino Walk. Comfy Hotels, meals were exceptional and the Guide was knowledgeable and helpful.
Our trip was wonderful. I would definitely use them again for trip planning. Everything was coordinated very well, boutique hotels were great, food was wonderful and the guide was knowledgeable and kind.
We were well taken care of- the guide gave us lots of information and notice about the trip before and daily as needed. The hotels and restaurants picked for us were amazing.
A big "Thank You" for organising a memorable trip. Regardless of the weather (rain, rain, rain), we had a great experience. The accommodation, food, Guide, Hotel staff, were fantastic. Will certainly recommend to anyone who is thinking of walking/cycling holidays.
Very good trip. All of the hotels were nice, a couple very nice. A great group of travelers. Our leader, Martin, was very experienced and provided good information. He was, however, very tired and not as patient on some difficult weather days as he should have been.
This is a great walk to do, whether it's your first one or not. Nice way to see some Spanish countryside.
The trip, the communication, the guide we had and the accommodation provided were all exceptional - I'd recommend UTracks to anyone.
Everything was handled well - the walk, hotels, luggage transfer, size of group, meals, etc. Our guide, Miguel, was excellent. He kept us informed of the country we were walking through & the history of the area. He spent time talking to each of us. Our group was encouraging to one another and I think we bonded well. UTracks was a good tour company to work with.
Brilliant from booking to walking. The office staff were amazingly helpful and answered all my questions speedily. The Camino from Sarria to Santiago was so well organised I felt relaxed and confident all was well. Sylvia our guide was (and is amazing). Great time keeping, informative and encouraging. Great advice about socks and walking shoes that would have been great to know before the walk. Sylvia’s first aid kit was great too and only used once. Hotel/Pension books were great and eateries too. You will not lose weight on this walk haha. I recommend using them and hope to again very soon.
Camino Frances - Sarria to Santiago de Compostela (Completed Camino on 10.28.2023) - Guide: Luis Peter Burmeister There are as many unique reasons to walk the Camino, as there are peregrinos. Mine was to honor my husband Roy’s beautiful life after his passing in 2022 and our extraordinary marriage together. The experience of completing the Camino was epic and life-changing for me; transformative. I would have never finished it, had it not been for the inspiration of my fellow peregrinos, friendships formed during my journey, who include our brilliant guide, Luis. I can speak from personal experience that my Camino venture was enriched by the knowledge, compassion and leadership of our guide. He went above and beyond to make each of us feel like we were part of a team and safe, as we traversed the 115 km to Santiago de Compostela from Sarria. Luis has been a Camino guide for almost two decades, having walked it hundreds of times. He knew every rocky incline, steep decline, turn, creek, and always maintained his professionalism throughout the entire hike. Luis observed each of our hiking skill levels early on and ensured that each of us was able to get through the day, at a healthy pace. We were severely affected by torrential rain and gale winds in the hills of northern Spain, as we made our trek to Compostela, and not once did I feel unsafe, due to our guide’s exceptional hiking abilities. Luis was called a “Shepard” by some of my cohorts, as he carefully maneuvered us out of forests and hills to each town and finally to the Cathedral. Along the way, our guide provided us with interesting historical facts and showed us Celtic ruins at one of the highest points of the Camino path. He also made “spot on” recommendations of local delicacies to try during our lunch time. As, I mentioned, Luis went above and beyond during our hike. At lunch on the day before arriving in Santiago, he surprised us all with a serenade of beautiful Celtic music on his bagpipes! This in my opinion earned him the highest rating of any guide that I have ever met in my many years of travel. He is a talented musician and treated us to several regional songs that brought tears to my eyes and touched my heart. It was a wonderful way to end a long journey to Compostela. If you would like a truly memorable and unforgettable Camino experience, ask for a UTracks journey with Luis, as your guide. Your Camino will be forever imprinted in your heart, as it is in mine. Buen Camino! - Di Galvan San Antonio, Texas
Our trek from Sarria to Santiago was a great experience. While the weather wasn’t what we wanted, the journey delivered. We had a great group and a wonderful Lead in Luis. He was informative, supportive, knowledgeable and very passionate on Galicia and the Camino. The trip organisation went to plan which was fantastic when finishing a daily trek on some of those wetter days. We will do more treks on the Camino when we return to Europe.
