If you are thinking of going on this trip, just do it! I had the time of my life hopping from island to island with the best bunch. Maria is the perfect tour guide with her infectious joyousness. There is a perfect balance of free time/guided activities. The food was a real highlight, and Maria always brought us to the most authentic Greek restaurants. This trip has made me fall in love with Greece and I can’t wait to go back. Also- the accommodation is top quality, particularly in Mykonos.

What a trip !! I would definitely do a Topdeck tour again and our tour guide - Maria - was simply amazing. Gave great suggestions, very welcoming and friendly, made us feel like we were at home and got on well with the locals. Highly recommend

Maria was truly the best guide I’ve ever had. She always had a solution to every problem and an answer to every question. Maria is truly so knowledgeable with the deep history of Greece. Her energetic personality kept us all alive after a few hard mornings after nights out lol. She had amazing recommendations for sites to see, food to eat, best means of transportation. I truly feel like I managed to see everything because of her help. Athens: only fault is accomodation was a bit far and in what felt like a slightly sketchy area.

The Delve Deep : Greek Island tour was fantastic! Athina was really lovely, helpful and knew a lot about Greek culture and history. There’s a lot of travel/ferry rides between islands.. so be prepared. Some evenings I think we could have just looked after ourselves (grab a gyros vs planned team dinner - happened most nights etc). Also, definitely don’t pack anything white (clothes or togs) on the volcano walk/swim… everything will go orange from the rust floating in the sea (it sticks to you even when dry). We did the wine tour and we only stopped at one vineyard (I suppose back home when we say a wine tour we assume we would visit 2/3 wineries - was quite expensive for 1 winery). One day in Athens was enough, the hotel/beach in Mykonos was amazing - I could have stayed an extra night and it was by far the best place for swimming. Paros was more rustic and had beautiful alleys with shops and bars (it was like Mykonos 10years ago), Santorini was stunning and would recommend perching at a table at V lounge (in Firo) at 6:30pm for drinks and enjoy the sunset - Oio was super busy and tad chaotic. Fira was more chilled and just as beautiful. Topdeck/Athina were really well organised/good comm’s and would use them again :)

I loved the delve deep greek islands program. Athina was AMAZING and the rest of the group was so much fun. I would have loved an extra day at each island to fully enjoy and experience each place before moving on as some days felt rushed. additionally, some of the full day trips didn’t cover everything stayed in the app description. despite this i would 100% recommend this to friends!!!

MARIA WAS AMAZING! Honestly that was the best trip and I explored and discovered so much more than I ever could have imagined. I managed to get more in one day than I could have possibly done on my own whilst Maria taught me so much more. I love Greek history but she went above and beyond with her knowledge and intelligence. I truly had the best time ever and I’ll be back for sure! Might even do the 50s plus haha

This trip was absolutely amazing and unforgettable! From the moment the tour started, everything was well-organised and ran smoothly, allowing us to just relax and enjoy the incredible Greek scenery. The itinerary had a great balance between group activities and free time, so you never felt too rushed but also got to see and do a lot. Our trip leader Giannis could not be faulted. He was so knowledgeable, fun and approachable, giving us information of history along the way and recommendations for our free time in each destination and making sure everyone was always included. Solo travelling in a group is the best way to meet so many amazing people and make lifelong friends.

Delve Deep was a great way to travel around Greece stress free with a guide who has so much local knowledge, organizational skills and keeps the vibe going - whether you want to party or focus on photography and the buildings. As someone in their mid 30s i worried I would be too old but we still had a mix of people from 18- late thirties and made great friends

The destinations and accommodation on the Deep Delve: Greek Islands were amazing. The ferry transfers should have been timed better so we didn’t have to wait for hours between checkout and departure and the eight hours ferry ride was excessive. The tour guide was young and seemed inexperienced despite their claims. They told us we had to go to specific restaurants and bars on our free nights as they had been pre booked and they knew the staff at each venue. The lack of communication made the tour much less enjoyable as well.

We had an awesome tour guide Loukiani, who was so helpful and always had suggestions for free time! Really great to have a local who became our tour guide on board! Great trip overall

This tour was incredible! Maria was the best tour leader and looked after our group so well. She was so passionate about teaching us the history of Greece and brought the group together so well. The tour was a great mix of culture, adventure and party. The hotel in Mykonos was a real highlight as well as the sunset in Oia!

This was a fantastic way to explore Greece for the first time (especially as a solo female traveller)! Maria was such a fantastic topdeck leader!! She made sure we got a taste of Greek history, she gave great recommendations for our free days and made sure we partied in true Greek style! Cannot recommend this trip enough and if you’re lucky to have Maria as a host you’re going to have the trip of a life time!! Thank you Maria for an awesome first experience of Greece! Probably my favourite trip I’ve done! Was such a good length, not too long and not too short. Each day was so fun and there was a good balance between being busy and having down time. Maria was a wonderful leader, miss her so much!

Athina was an amazing trip leader. She made sure we were all comfortable, gave us recommendations for the town we were in and was so organised. The group and I absolutely loved her, and will definitely miss her. The accommodation was amazing, the breakfast included was also good. Going in Sep definitely eliminated some crowds which was also good. I can’t thank Athina enough for all she did!!!!!

A wonderful, quick and fun tour of Greece. We hit all the main tourist spots, every 2nd day was a travel day (ferry) so be prepared to be on the go constantly. Highlights of the trip were definitely the Petinos hotel in Mykonos, the beaches in Paros and the Blue Churches in Santorini. Made some wonderful people and ate my way across the islands. Highly recommend for a first-time trip to Greece. If you get Athina as your guide, you have hit the jackpot! She knows all the best places for food, drinking, dancing, shopping, money exchange etc. She is bubbly, extremely knowledgeable and made sure we were all looked after.

The tour was well organised, including ample free time to do what we wanted. Our guide Athina was very fun and informative, she offered plenty of Greek insights, and she was always available for questions and guidance. She made the trip really awesome. She even helped us with a request for our ferry ride and that was very helpful. The hotels were in good condition, we used a lot of public transport within the islands and Athina was there to offer advice and directions, she was extremely helpful. Also involves a lot of walking in the heat, so dress well! Our holiday went very well and we had so much fun, thousands of awesome photos, and amazing stories to remember. Thank you, Athina!

I just returned from an incredible trip to Greece and felt compelled to leave some feedback. The itinerary was fantastic, providing a perfect balance of sightseeing and relaxation. I truly enjoyed the camaraderie within the group; everyone was super cool and friendly, which made the experience even more memorable. The accommodations were very nice, especially the place we stayed in Mykonos—it was stunning! I want to give a special shoutout to our tour guide, Maria. She was absolutely amazing! Her warmth, enthusiasm, and care for each member of the group were evident throughout the trip. I really enjoyed this trip and had loads of fun since my group was amazing and our trip leader was great. The accomodation was amazinggggg ! I do think this trip lacked a bit of what I was looking for in visiting the Greek islands, we didn’t have a huge amount of time on the beaches and the whole thing felt a bit rushed. I chose this tour over other companies because there was a great variety of add ons however the included extras weren’t what I expected, for example the dinners weren't the traditional Greek cuisine you would be hoping for when visiting Greece! The extras we had to pay for, although great fun, were extremely overpriced for what they were and if I could do the trip again I probably wouldn’t do any of them. My favourite day of the trip was a boat tour we organised ourselves for a fraction of the cost topdeck was charging for their version. Although I had a great time on this trip I’d probably recommend looking into one that is cheaper, longer and has more included!

Was a beautiful trip offering you to see the best parts of Athens as well as some of the nicest Greek islands in a short time. Tour leader Athina was the highlight of my experience, always willing to help anyone as much as they needed and very attentive to me when i had an accident in Mykonos, she was like my loving Greek mama! Plus she's full of intersting information about every stop on the tour. I wouldn't want to travel Greece without her and being from Athens she is the best for it. The ferries between islands and accommodation, meals were organised seamlessly for us. My group dynamic wasn't the greatest with several closed off couples in a small group and most wanting a quiter experience than me, but that's the gamble you take on a tour.

The Delve Deep : Greek Islands TopDeck Tour was amazing, from the tour guide Nickos, to the activities during the days. I thoroughly enjoyed my time going from place to place and learning about /exploring them. Unorganised trip manger who was late, repeated themself often and didn’t have a lot of helpful suggestions. We had a small group which meant it was very hard to get the minimum number to do the extra activities. Wouldn’t Recommend

The tour gave us a taster of what each place has to offer and gave us time to look at the main attractions as well as have some free time to explore the area around us. I did the extra day trip in Athens, Paros and Santorini which were all super enjoyable. Nikos our tour guide was amazing and gave us all good recommendations for food, shopping as well as beaches that we could go to in our free time. He also was very knowledgeable and shared it in all the places. He was very kind and friendly and definitely would tour with him again

This trip was amazing with wonderful sight seeing and experiences. Our group was filled with friendly people and the tour guide was awesome. Nikos is an amazing and fun person to be around and took us to all the right places. Couldn’t praise him higher!

When I first booked this trip I thought it would be a great way to experience the 3 main Greek islands, however the way our tour leader handled it I feel like I didn’t experience it as well as I could have. When we had walking tours led by him he often wouldn’t explain what we were looking at to the whole group, or if you asked a question about what a building/monument was he would say it’s a surprise but never actually tell you. For the extra activity in Santorini full day volcano trip and Oia sunset tour, our lunch was a preheated meal in an alfoil container which I would have expected something better for the price we paid. It also states in the brief for the Santorini say trip that there would be a guide however we had our tour leader as our guide for the volcano and Oia tour. In Oia our topdeck leader took us to a spot to get an iconic photo with the 3 blue domed churches however when 4 of us had finished (16 of us were still lined up) he took us 4 for the rest of the “included tour” to see the sunset from a remaining tower while everyone else missed out which again for the price we all paid for this extra activity I would have expected better organisation and taken to see some more sights or even just hear the history about the place. When we had our own spare time he didn’t recommend places to visit or good spots to eat at which my previous 3 Topdeck tour leader all have. There was also the incident where he had taken a few of us to a beach on Mykonos and one of the guys swam into a underwater rock formation and hit his head, now while the wound itself wasn’t serious we were very luck to have a nurse on hand and 2 people with first aid training as our tour leader went into panic, by the end of the tour though he then told everyone that he handled the situation himself very well didn’t fill in an incident report because it wasn’t needed which I wasn’t impressed to hear as I was there when the incident happened and witnessed what actually took place. He had also said that he knew that the rock formation was there which I find irresponsible that he hadn’t warned us.

As a 30yo solo male traveller, I loved this trip. Athina our tour guide made the whole trip easy so there was no stress getting anywhere as Greece can be a busy place during the summer. It was a great mix of activities but also plenty of free time, Athina gave us lots of great recommendations at each island and let us do our own thing. It catered for all people, some nights we would enjoy the night life and some nights we just relaxed so don't be discouraged if you're not into drinking much, but there's still plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Greek island clubs. When the girls wanted to shop or sun tan, the guys could do their own thing and we were never bored. It was great value for money.

Our trip through the Greek islands was amazing and that’s all because Maria was a fantastic guide. She was super knowledgeable about all the history of everything place and she also knew most of the people at restaurants and hotels. Giving us a full authentic experience, I couldn’t recommend this trip more

Loved the trip! The tour guide was amazing and knew so much about everything we asked and if she didn't know found out for us. I really enjoyed the places we went and I liked the schedule for everything. I didn’t feel overwhelmed with the activities and also had time to look around and do things for myself.

Great way to see the islands with the best trip leader, Athina. Athina really made us comfortable and supported the whole trip with helpful notes and tips. All (aside from one hotel) was fantastic and in decent locations. Fast paced and lots of packing up and down was the only downside but still were able to fit what you wanted to do if you planned.

An incredible look at the Greek islands. Covers everything a first time visitor to the islands need. The local guide Athina was beyond exceptional. The places she picked for dinner and took us to were magical. I felt that she thought of everything before I could even think to ask. The travel from island to island was so well organised, I would have been overwhelmed doing the ferry experience myself but Athina made it easy and stress free for everyone. I really liked all the hotels we stayed at. The only criticism I had is that it wasn’t explained prior to the trip that optional extras required a large portion of the tour to opt in otherwise we couldn’t participate. I don’t love having my trip choices affected by the decisions of others.

Had so much fun on this tour! Athina was amazing. Just felt very rushed spending every 2nd day on a ferry boat. Would have loved to have maybe 1 more night on each island to see more. Probably didn’t need 2 nights in Athens at the beginning since most people spent 1-2 nights there either before or after the tour. Most hotels we stayed at were also a bit far from the main towns especially in Santorini. Overall a great trip and would recommend to other solo travellers who want to meet people and get a taste of Greece!

Trip was fantastic, and my tour guide Eleni made it so much better by being flexible, recommending options for certain interests of trip members (pointing out churches for me for example), and overall ensured everyone did something fun everyday!

Great taste of Greece. Each place you could have easily stayed longer but it was good to see them all and know where you would like to go back to in the future. Overall it was a great tour.

We had the best time on the Greek Islands Tour! We wish it was longer, all the destinations were beautiful! We had the best group of people and our Trip Leader Maria was even better! She had lots of knowledge, made an effort to get to know everyone in our group. She had lots of suggestions about things to do & places to go.

Had a great time on the Greek Islands trip with TopDeck. Our trip leader, Michalis, was great. Very knowledgeable of the islands. He was also very flexible and accommodating, and was great fun to be around. The trip went by so fast, with the first and last day being essentially hellos/goodbyes. But the remaining time was packed with walking tours, plenty of free time, great food, awesome friends and more. Would definitely recommend doing the optional activity in Santorini - we went on a boat out to the Volcano which was a great experience. Accommodation in Mykonos is absolutely amazing. Overall, we loved this trip and would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to get a taste for Greece!

Great trip and great leader in Maria Would highly recommend

I really enjoyed this trip and our tour leader was super helpful. I think it would be beneficial to give options for the second last night being on a ferry or flying as that took up 8 hours of our day. The first and last night was included even though we didn’t start till either then end of the day or finished on the morning. Michalis was a wonderful guide. Super knowledgeable and very understanding. He would always offer options and suggestions which I found extremely helpful

Pros: - Saw the highlights of the main islands in Greece. - Athina showed us around each island and provided great recommendations, tips, and tricks for each city. - Felt free to do our own thing, whether having dinner on our own or exploring solo. - Athina was excellent, bringing energy, culture, history, and knowledge. She was very caring and passionate about her job. - We had a 27.5-hour flight home the following day arriving back in Athens and decided to purchase a cabin from Santorini to Athens, which we highly recommend. It cost €70 for two people, and we got plenty of sleep in the comfy beds. The cabin even had an ensuite shower and toilet. - The accommodation was good, especially in Mykonos! Cons - Some recommended restaurants were hit or miss. The excellent ones had great service and food, offering good value for money. The bad ones felt overpriced and some traditional dishes were not unavailable, which was disappointing to a few of us. - The optional tours were expensive. You could find other tour operators offering better value for money, although you pay for the convenience of having everything arranged for you. - The tour needed an extra day for each island to fully 'delve-deep'.

Nikos was an amazing, kind and fun tour leader with our best interests at heart! Joining in the fun and getting us safety to where we needed to be with no issues or disorganisation. Locations were amazing and food recommendations were always a hit! An amazing time to meet so many lovely people!

As most trips go there are pros and cons! Pros - organised ferry’s, trip leader looked out for us and gave recommendations, trio leader had knowledge about Greece, good group of friends to explore with Cons - walking in extreme heat including from the port to accommodation while our bags were allowed on an empty bus but we weren’t, trip leaders can’t talk about a lot of stuff in public due to laws but makes walking tours not much of a tour Did enjoy doing it for the first time to Greece, got discounts and helpful tips on how to navigate the islands but would be prepared not all transfers are included! Overall would recommend :)

Met some great people and was a convenient way to get around the islands however don’t feel I got my moneys worth. Our tour guide Nikos although lovely and took care of our whole group didn’t provide many recommendations on things to do at each of the islands which was a bit of a bummer considering on previous top deck trips I have done I have had countless recommendations of things to do, places to eat etc. so was a little disappointed that we received no recommendations! Also felt we didn’t get much knowledge of Greece told to us, which is always a nice extra when doing a tour! Also considering how much we paid when we arrived in Paros off the ferry we were told to put our bags in the bus but we had to walk, I don’t think this is acceptable considering how hot it was and that the port wasn’t close to the hotel and the fact our bags could go on but we couldn’t just didn’t sit right with me! Additionally I wouldn’t recommend the panorama hotel in Paros, the staff were rude to us and it wasn’t very clean! Additionally, I felt the optional extras were very expensive considering how much we had already paid for the trip, for example the volcano boat tour around Santorini we could have hired boats ourself for cheaper as a group and definitely didn’t feel we got our money worth for that optional extra. Additionally with that optional extra it included going to Oia to watch the sunset however our guide told us we had to leave at 8:15 so before sunset which is sad cause that’s all we wanted to do there, when we questioned with our guide he said that then we would be back late for dinner however we all would have been happy with that or to have had dinner in Oia as it wasn’t an included dinner just a place our guide was taking us! Felt very ripped off as we had been looking forward to the sunset here all trip to then only have an hour in Oia, definitely not worth it! Additionally our guide didn’t want to show us the blue domes cause that’s too touristy and there are other things to see when that’s the main thing we all wanted to see! Just a little dissatisfied with how the trip ran! Nikos was lovely don’t get me wrong but jsut felt like he was only doing it for his own benefit of free meals and drinks at each place took us rather than to show us around Greece!
