3 Passes trek with nice views, good weather and good agency
We had a really nice time on our three passes Trek. I would definitely recommend doing the three passes over the normal Everest base camp trip as views are much nicer and you see more of the Everest region. Just don't rush the trip too much as you really need the time for acclimatization. Making the trip longer is always the better option then shorter and we have seen quite some people who had big issues with altitude sickness because they went up too fast. There are several peaks you can add additional to the three passes if you have enough time what I would recommend as well. Be careful with the guide you get, at the end it is your trip so he should really adapt to your wishes. Here you have to be strict that the guide is following your wishes and not you his.
It was a truly memorable experience.
I did the Everest base camp and the three high passes trek. The arrangements made were terrific and the itinerary planned was great. The guide was a fantastic person, we got to trek together a lot especially after the basecamp hike ended and we went on our own for the three-passes trek. It was a truly memorable experience and I am definitely coming back to Nepal again in the next couple of years for some climbing.
Great trek, great company, so-so guide
Completed in late monsoon so managed to get some sporadic, but nice views. This local travel expert handled rebooking flights/hotels when bad weather cancelled the first flight which was fantastic, they are a great facilitating company. Guide was nice but disinterested in the main points of interest. I was rushed when I reached the Kalla Patthar and Gokyo Ri viewpoints which were the highlights of the trip. I would have liked to spend more time enjoying the sights but the guide was keen to finish our hiking days quickly. I also missed out on a good 6am view of Everest from Kalla Patthar because my guide didn't feel it was "good enough" to wake me up for it. Instead, we arrived for 730am and saw nothing but clouds. By the end of the trip, I had to advocate for myself and insist on early starts so I could enjoy the views I came to see, which I felt defeated the purpose of having a guide. Definitely recommend the agency, but hope you get a better guide than me.
spectacular EBC 3 passes Trek
We trekked with this local travel specialist. It was our first trek in Nepal , we loved The Everest Base camp 3 passes Trek. View from Kalapathar was spectacular.

What an experience! The 3 High Passes/EBC Trek is a must do, the scenery is absolutely stunning!!! I definitely do not regret to had choose this local tour operator for this trip. The bond with my guide ''Keshar'' was top, he really knows the mountains and definitely became a new friend along the way. Raj the owner was also super efficient helping me and answering all my questions really fast and super friendly too. I guarantee you guys that you will see me again for the Mera Peak sometime soon!! Thank you! Pascal

100-mile trek in the Everest Region of Nepal
something you need to do in your lifetime. you need to be fit and adjust in the low oxygen level.
Green Valley is a gem, Raj is an amazing coordinator, and Bisho is a superb guide
I chose a local tour agency when it came to booking my EBC + High passes trek in April 2021and boy am I glad I did that!! In summary, they have more than earned my highest recommendation.Raj, the coordinator, was incredibly accommodating from the beginning and closely worked with my schedule and ever-changing COVID guidelines to help book my trip. I only had 9 days off from work, and was comfortable with my training, but the shortest trip offered by any other tour operator was over 12 days. However, with Raj, he created an individualized itinerary for me and assigned me a fit guide/porter duo to set me up for success. He even personally picked me up from the airport and dropped me off after I completed my trek. My flight to Lukla got cancelled due to the poor weather, and Raj diligently worked with me to organize a Jeep to Phaphlu and a private helicopter to Lukla the very next morning due to my already annotated trip.My guide, Bisho, was enthusiastic, friendly, and was proficient in English. He did everything in his power to ensure I was able to accomplish my goal of completing the EBC+High pass trek in 8 days; and simultaneously, have an enjoyable and memorable trip. He ensured he pointed out all the notable peaks during our week of clear skies, as well as the history and significance of Sherpa culture and Buddhist traditions. Although I pre-medicated with Diamox, I felt some signs of altitude sickness one evening in Lobuche due to our lack of acclimatization days. On that evening, Bisho played cards with me, offered to give me a head massage, and sang a beautiful Nepalese song. He was up-beat, thoughtful, and calm throughout the tripif you have the option to choose a guide, I would strongly recommend you ask for Bisho as he will not disappoint! My porter, Jit, was similarly wonderful and ensured he kept up with our ambitious pace. He acted as an assistant guide and helped out with ordering meals and ensured that I was well-taken care of. In summary, the operator was an absolute gem amongst the 100s of tour coordinators offering the EBC +/- high passes trek. They have earned my highest recommendation, and I would highly recommend them to my family and friends!
