We really enjoyed our trip. All information was clear so didn't have any questions. Walks not very hard. Amazing views. Decent hotels. Clean. We left in the morning and came back in the evening. Hotel in Agerolo was lovely. Public transport was very confusing in Amalfi. No clear information where the bus stops. We had to to push to get on the bus with the third attempt. Nearly missed stop in Pompey as all windows were in white dots and could not see passing stations. No screen or announcement. Use Google Map. We met lots of tourists from around the world in towns and had interesting conversations. I wish we had more time in Pompei and regret that we didn't hire a guide. The trip was a good combination of nature, history, cuisine, culture and people. I have to say in the last stay in B&B in Naples the receptionist Italian lady was wonderful. She didn't speak English so we used Google translate and it was an interesting experience. She hugged and kissed us as we were her best nephews. Such a lovely lady. It was interesting to talk with Antonio in Agerolo hotel. Great experience. Love Italy.

They did a good job of organizing our trip overall. Times of transfers could have been communicated better. We asked for tour recommendations for Pompeii, which we were told that the don't have recommendation and we should sign up for any tours we want to do. This lead us to sign up for a tour that had to be cut short due to a shuttle transfer time. It would have been nice to know what time we need to be finished to make the transfer earlier. We only found out a week before leaving to Italy. Otherwise it was a great and unforgettable experience.

Great trip especially if you manage to leave the masses behind. We went in September which meat excellent weather but also still very busy especially when cruise ships are in town. As soon as you go on one of the walks it gets quiet. The hotels are well located, but nothing more than the 3 stars. When hotel meals are included don’t expect too much. Alternatively, there are lots of great places to eat or build yourself a great panini in one of the local shops. You need quite a lot more than the quoted 90 EUR for extras once you use a ferry and pay for entries. The tracks on the itinerary are all easy. No need for walking poles or special shoes. We highly recommend adding a high-speed train journey to Rome to spend some time there. Napels is great for being on the sea but Rome with all its splendour and variety beats it hands down. Other tips: Small kayak tour in Sorrento is nice. Use an app such as AllTrails to go off the beaten track. When staying in Agerola visit the Grand Hotel Sant'Orsola near the town square to enjoy an amazing view of the Amalfi coast. In Almafi you can find a quite spot with a water fountain and a place to swim if you walk to the marina side. Near the main town and the bus stop it is crazy busy. Vesuvius is a bit naff once you've experienced NZ volcanos, but it does offer great views of the bay of Napels. Pompei great to visit with a local guide.

My family and I had an amazing time on this Amalfi Explorer trip. It was organized, we appreciated the transportation services and how they would move our luggage to the next location, and it offered a lovely variety of sights and hikes on the Amalfi Coast! This was my first time in Italy and it exceeded my expectations.
