Stay in a traditional family-run hotel and enjoy local cuisine and wines
Italy’s Amalfi Coast beckons with its legendary beauty, and this eight-day walking tour invites sophisticated explorers to experience it up close. Starting and ending in Naples, the journey weaves through iconic destinations—Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, and the enchanting island of Capri—offering a tapestry of ancient stairways, cliffside trails, and seaside vistas. Unpack once at Hotel Risorgimento, and set off daily to discover the region’s charms on foot.
Highlights include traversing the famed Walk of the Gods—considered one of Italy’s most breathtaking hikes—and optional excursions to the UNESCO treasures of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Each day’s adventure is balanced by evenings unwinding with local wines on a panoramic terrace, capturing the relaxed yet immersive spirit of the region.
Designed for experienced travelers seeking easy yet rewarding activity, this tour blends leisurely walks with ample cultural encounters. The unique draw? A seamless combination of picturesque hiking, world-class heritage, and authentic moments in one of Italy’s most storied landscapes.
This was a fantastic holiday. The Amalfi coast is beautiful and fascinating! Our tour leader, Gennaro, was very knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm about the area and was a pleasure to spend time with. The hotel was lovely and the family who run it were very friendly and helpful.
The organisation was efficient, the hotel was basic but clean, with friendly staff. The food was average, with limited choice. The pizza demonstration was fun, as was the pasta making. The itinerary was demanding, with three very early starts, although the reasons for that were explained.
Food and pack lunch menu need improvement specially for gluten free and dairy intolerant people. Accommodation must provide kettle in rooms for tea & coffee. The hotel didn’t allow us to have hot drinks before the breakfast time which was quite disappointing as some of us love to have our morning tea in bed
