The guide (Fisher) was fabulous as he dealt with every situation calmly and the coordinator (Diana) of the tour in Cusco was a dream and kept us up to date and answered all my questions promptly.

Our guide, Fisher, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and considerate. He took good care of us and handled each situation with confidence and calmness. The hike was more difficult than we’d expected but Machu Picchu didn’t disappoint.

We had an amazing time on our trip to Chile

We had an amazing time on our trip to Chile. Everything on our itinerary was planned perfectly and everyone was early to arrive and very friendly and happy to give recommendations. The W Trek experience was made so much easier and less stressful thanks to their careful planning. Would recommend to anyone looking to experience Patagonia without having to worry about missing out on booking any part of the trip.

Excellent

Peru wasn't love at first sight, but it became something unforgettable. Lima felt chaotic but I quickly fell into rhythm. Then the Amazon hit me like another world entirely. You don’t just see nature there. You hear it and feel it pressing in around you. The nights were humid and loud, filled with the chorus of life. It was wildly outside my comfort zone but I loved it. Cusco had colonial charm and a sense of sacredness in every stone. Machu Picchu was, of course, the crown jewel. But what surprised me most? The way the guide told its story, not just facts, but legends, perspectives, reverence. This trip didn’t feel curated to be “easy.” It was immersive. Real. A little demanding at times but that’s what made it stick. These guys handled everything greatly. I came home with stories I actually want to tell not just photos to post.

We had a great trip thanks to our wonderful guide, Diago, and our travelling companions. Diago was very knowledgable and he often found wildlife for us. He also several times a day spent 10 minutes or so telling us about different aspects of Costa Rican culture. This was always interesting and fun. I appreciated the way this tour was constructed to provide the opportunity to see wildlife in different climatic zones. Some accommodation was really really good. A couple of places were a bit disappointing but they were clean and comfortable. The last hotel was on a noisy road - but it had a reserve and walk attached where we saw some great wildlife. Another less good hotel had very small older style rooms and was in town (rather than the countryside): while initially disappointing it did mean we were able to easily get to a choice of good restaurants and there did not seem to be a better hotel that offered that. Sometimes the food at the hotels we stayed in was a bit disappointing.

Our guide was the best. Hotels in Lima and Sacred Valley were excellent choices. The hotel in Manchu Picchu was just ok. These tours tend to keep you on the go. Would have been nice to spend an extra day in Lima or the Sacred Valley.
