Really great trip! Marcello was wonderful & really went above and beyond. Iguazu Falls were amazing. Both sides of the falls should be seen if you go. Christ the Redeemer, sunsets, Recoleta Cemetery. all fabulous. Wish more activities were included. Seemed like a lot of "extras".

Great trip with Iguazu Falls and boat trip a major highlight. Loved The Tango show in BA and trip out to Estancia. Marcelo was a great guide. Rio is amazing and we were so lucky with the weather. Fab views from Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer and sunset at Ipenema Beach with all the people was fantastic. I think they should do an extra day in Rio. . A good group and we all had fun. We spent 2 weeks exploring Ecuador’s incredible scenery and diversity from the Andes to the Amazon. We were in great hands with our guide, Fabian, and our driver, Walter. Fabian shared a lot about his country, always watchful for birds and wildlife, as we toured each day. Hotels were good and drinking water was provided along the way. Despite missing the Otavalo region, we had many highlights including the clouds clearing as we arrived at Cotopaxi showcasing its beauty, the thermal baths in Papallacta, our visit to the community of Palacio Real, and our Amazon stay. We greatly appreciated Explore's flexibility in allowing us to add a few extra days in Cuenca to explore this pretty city before continuing our journey back to Quito. Also, a special shout out and thank you to the group working in the local office who helped me sort out an issue with my airline ticket. Their willingness to help and quick responses via WhatsApp were greatly appreciated!

An outstanding trip. A really well-paced and we’ll-balanced itinerary giving a great insight into so many aspects of Ecuador from culture, history and great scenery on the mainland to amazing wildlife on the Galápagos Islands. Fabian was a terrific tour leader who ensured everything ran perfectly. Highly recommended.

A fantastic tour for sure, made all the better by an excellent tour guide (Tayron) and a very competent and accomodating driver (Andres). Tayron was a mine of information and had an encyclapedic knowledge of the wildlife we saw. Nothing was too much for them and they ensured all our requests were met.

Very-well designed itinerary, starting with a couple of long coach journeys at the beginning (including the overnight coach journey) to bond the group, with the tour getting better and better as it progressed. Our leader, Darwin, was simply brilliant, going the "extra mile" on various occasions and providing several experiences that were not set out in the itinerary (including a view of the sunset over Arequipa from a rooftop bar, plus a brewery tasting session in Cusco). Macchu Picchu lived up to all the hype, but my personal highlight was the night on Taquile Island, despite the basic accommodation, and the morning walk across the island. All the local guides were excellent. All in all, a fantastic introduction to southern Peru.
