It was a splendid introductory trip. The guides in each city were very good; the the cities themselves were fascinating. We chose our own restaurants which was easy. The museums were quite spectacular, and if you like art Botelo is a master of painting and sculpture. I must say I was confused about the preparatory organization, since it all seemed to be done on-line; and did not come together in a package for us until a few days before we arrived, but in the end the logistics were excellent. The cars and guides arrived on time at every stop, and the hotels were very good. So all in all, well done.

Our tour leader Constantin was amazing and made sure that everyone had a fabulous time. We could not have asked for a better person. He worked hard to ensure everything went to plan, provided clear instructions for each day, gave valuable historical and cultural information and was a great guy to chat to and spend time with. He organised group dinners and arranged additional activities/visits as requested by group members eg boat trip on Danube. We had a delay at immigration on the Serbian boarder and Constantin worked hard to ensure that we held our place in the queue. Overall we were amazed by the whole trip and are very grateful to Constantine and the driver Christian for their hard work and friendship.

This week of hiking was both challenging, especially as the weather was very hot, even in the mountains, but also enormously rewarding. Albania has blown me away from the 10 day cultural tour. Artur our guide was very informative about the history, culture, ethics, people , food and so on, I have come away with a different view. The Upper Mustang trek was a truly wonderful journey, especially in combination with the Tiji Festival. The mix of hiking, jeep transfers, and overnight stays in tents made it feel like a genuine expedition. The support from the entire staff was outstanding. Our tents were set up for us each day and taken down again as soon as our group departed for the next stage of the trek. Every morning, we were welcomed with a cup of warm water or tea, and upon arriving at camp each afternoon, we were provided with a bowl of hot washing water, a much-appreciated comfort after a long day on the trail. Upper Mustang is an extremely dusty region, and you certainly notice that during the trek. Fortunately, we were able to avoid most of the roads by taking hiking trails, and many of the trekking days were demanding and sometimes strenuous. Daily altitude changes were significant, often climbing from around 3,000-3,200 metres to over 4,000 metres, then descending again before making another ascent the following day. This made the trek a rewarding challenge every day. Despite the physical demands, our entire group enjoyed every moment of the experience. I would like to thank all the staff and guides once again for their excellent support, professionalism, and outstanding service throughout the trip.

Initially, I was reluctant to visit Iguazu as I thought its just another waterfall, but when I saw the beauty of this waterfall I was speechless. You have to visit this place to experience the beauty and enormity. The Macuco safari & boat trip to under the waterfall I am not going to forget ever. Since I was unable to visit the Argentina side of the waterfall, I was able to spend the day at the Itaipu Dam and also the 3 fronteiras (borders). What a memorable trip.

Everything went perfect. From the time I was picked up from the hotel in Manaus, the boat ride crossing the Negro and Amazon rivers, the drive from the pier to the boat ride to the resort. I was in awe of the beauty and enormity of the forest. While boating through the flooded path amidst the trees, I fell in love with the Amazon forest. Definitely coming back again.
