Great trip

From start to finish this tour was well organized and packed full of things to see and experience. Tour guides were prompt, knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions. There was always someone on hand to answer questions in person or via whatsapp. So much to see and experience our family loved it and felt we had a real experience of Peru, its people, customs, food and traditions.

Excellent

A great and very enjoyable trip with a very good guide / tour leader (Daniel). Such varied culture, food and scenery too. I felt like I learned and saw a lot. My one recommendation would be to make sure you read the trip notes carefully before you go / book. You cover a lot of ground (long distances) at times in order to and pack everything in. So there are some long travel days and plenty of early starts. Loved it.

Poor Communication in Peru

The trip was good. We saw alot of sights, however I feel the trip was rushed. We were asked to get up very early and the driver/guide was often late making us sit around while we missed breakfast. Also they do not stop for bathroom breaks for food. They just keep going. On one trip from the train station to the hotel the guide told us we would stop for bathroom break on the way, he did not then, when asked again he said 5 minutes only, which turned over never or 1 1/2 hour later when we go to hotel. The guide left the bus about halfway on the ride because he was near his house. The happened with several guides. Guides tell you things to keep you quiet. English not the best.

Very professional services, excellent guides and with a lot of patience. All the operators of the agency are very attentive. Despite all the bad circumstances of our trip, starting with the accident at the Lima airport that caused it to be closed for two days, they took very good care of us upon our arrival and then the closure of roads due to a national strike of carriers in the same week, they did everything they could to keep us safe and to at least be able to meet what they could after we missed many tours of our original itinerary. In the worst trip we've had in our lives, the agency did everything in its power to lessen the bad experience. I highly recommend them, I suppose that under normal circumstances, they must exceed the expectations of the tourist.

Amazing and knowledgeable guides for our trip of a lifetime in Peru. All of our vacation visits were handled by LimaTours. For the duration of our trip, we felt safe and in good hands. All of our guides were professional, punctual, organized, and most of all, very knowledgeable. In Lima, Katy gave us a great tour of the city. The next day, he walked us to the airport and helped us check in for our flight to Arequipa. Our favorite guide of all, Henry V., was going to be with our group for the next two days from Arequipa to Puno. The transfer from the airport to the hotel in Arequipa was efficient and informative. We learned a lot about Peru from Henry; and that opinion was unanimous among our group of twelve. Our safe driver Julianos stopped for tours, shopping and pictures as requested. We were sad to leave them in Puno after seeing such beautiful sites, great restaurants with buffets, and of course all that new cultural understanding of Peru. In Puno, Jos_ used various maps and images to share his information about the Urus people, Lake Titicaca, and Taquile Island. Our next day was less positive from Puno to Cuzco. It has nothing to do with LimaTours as we were on a VIP bus from a different company. Our guide barely spoke English all day. He preferred to speak Spanish as there were several European travelers on our bus. After a free day in Cuzco, we were glad to be with Dream Team, our guide Patrick and Juan Carlos, our amazing bus driver (navigating through the traffic in Cuzco can be quite a challenge). Once again, there is much to learn and places to visit in the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo. At Machu Picchu, Marco E. guided us, explained and showed us, also using pictures, a very detailed and comprehensive picture of this beautiful site, Machu Picchu. He even took photos of our group and helped us get our passports stamped. In conclusion, I recommend LimaTours for your vacation in Peru.

What a brilliant time we had on our recent visit to Peru. From the moment we met our guide at Lima airport the fun started. The itinerary was full on but it was never overwhelming. All the travel was in comfortable buses and it was broken up by regular stops at places of interest. The guide love of his country was clear from the outset and his geographical and historical knowledge was amazing. If you want to see Peru this trip can't be beaten. Sebastian was entertaining and extremely informative. Professional from start to finish and nothing was ever too much trouble. Go prepared for an adventure - you won't be disappointed.
