Iara Musumeci was a fantastic guide. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and caring. The only flaw with the itinerary was the connection between Patagonia and Iguazu. In all other respects it was a great trip!

Excellent trip!! Best one ever! I loved this trip even more than 2 trips to Italy. The people are so very friendly! We had an excellent tour manager and bus driver. Outstanding accommodations and perfect weather!

Excellent!

From steamy Tortoguero, with the howler monkeys waking us up at 5.00am (no need for an alarm!) to cool, mountainous Savegre thronging with hummingbirds, this was a tour of contrasting habitats each with their own variety of wildlife, plants and flowers. In addition to the wildlife elements of the tour, visits to the Aquiares coffee factory and CAITE research centre were incredibly interesting. The optional visit to the Bri Bri community was well worth it; we learned all about how chocolate is made from scratch and had great fun trying each part of the process. While there were some longer travel days, they were well paced, never felt too onerous and we often saw interesting things en route. The boat trips were fantastic- just getting to Tortoguero and to Drake Bay were experiences in themselves, with opportunity to see lot of wildlife on the way. The snorkelling trip was amazing- we were able to swim above sea turtles, rays and amongst lots of colourful fish. Even if you don't snorkel, the boat trip was worth doing- we saw a pod of humpback whales quite close to the boat, and a variety of birds. The accommodation was comfortable and in all the hotel grounds we were able to spot a variety of wildlife- great for photographers who enjoy having a camera/phone in one hand and a 'sundowner' in the other!

The itinerary is fast paced but you see a lot, which is what we expected. The excursions are nice for those that want even more adventure. We purchased snacks at the beginning of the trip but did not need them. The food was fantastic and we made many stops with a lot already included. Our tour guide was fantastic, as was our driver. This was our 5th Trafalgar tour and we have another one planned already for October. We had a wonderful group. Everyone got along and we all had such a good time together. The tour director started a WhatsApp thread and everyone was posting pictures. Even if you did not get a picture of something someone else did. The hotels were all nice and some of them were unique.

Marcelo was a very good tour director. He took care of us in two ways: getting my wife to a doctor with a throat infection and staying up with me late to watch an NFL playoff game on his tablet. El Calafate/Perito Moreno the clear standout. Better to cut short time in Puerto Natales by one day and give us a day in Santiago instead. Too much lower interest filler in Puerto Natales (baby horses, cave, Rupestre). Keep Torres del Paine and boat to Serrano glacier and sheep farm visit.

Very enjoyable trip with lots of sunshine, sightseeing, wildlife and good biking. Carlos was an amazing leader for the group. Beautiful scenery, cheeky monkeys, waterfalls and volcanos to see while biking.
